hasn't budged from 48,elites/salesmenship bringing 53.I've heard people say they're OK with 3.I guess if that's all pull for it,not much choice.Nothing smaller than bowties.College towns all around helps immensely.I don't see that market going anywhere soon.

Nobody i know buys #'s (of the good stuff)around here.Everybody buys oz's.The going rate is $350 for the good stuff.Most of the time you know its a good strain,but have no idea what it is.Everybody can get regs here ,but not everybody can the good strains.

Ive grown alot of the different types,people like to know what it is.But don't particularly want to pay more ,just because its kush or diesel or whatever.So im switching over to nothing but yielders..In the next few months everything i have from now on will be ..Pure Power Plant,Pot of Gold,Critical Mass,Blockhead ,swt tooth,and all of Weedbeats Chocolate Collection and his other crosses.

Average folks round here, just aren't the kind of connisours(<-mispell)that we are on this board.But thats ok i let them go for $280 = $4480 a lb.They get $400 for them ,and eveyones happy......

I've been growing out Bubba Which dosent yeild that well...im like man do u no what strain this is.. this bubba kush the pinnical of all indicas ...an nobody really cares i think cause they never heard of it anyway
and i said to my self i going to switch it up to just high yeilding strains so i bought me some sweet tooth #4 beans an the next strain on my list is critical mass

why do you think it failed in cali? They want to make it sound as if it was just the same drug war people, but it was the same drug war people, cops+ prisons, along with dispensary owners. If it was legal, msot dispensaries wouldn't be able to survive. So its all greed. They would deny it, but its obvious they almost had no choice but to go against it for business reasons. Since there all supposed to be non profit and on a mission, then i chalk it up to greed.

the price may actually rise for all grades of cannabis due to the regulation fee's and licensing fee's...that cost will surely be passed on to the consumer...folks now show they are willing to pay out the ass at the dispo's so what will be the difference when it is finally legalized...its all about the money and the gov will get theirs at the local, state and federal levels.

around here more and more people just grow for themselves. (even a foot of space and a few cfls might save ya thousands in the longrun)

(and its really only a big investment to grow if you are growing for money..)

though, remembering when i bought, well, skipping two months of smoking would meant i could afford money for a big grow lol.

I am a basement grower myself.. actually i will be starting for the first time soon. i have been building my lab for right at a year now. I am excited and seriously cautious at the same time. I want to find people i can safely learn from. the prices where i am at are FANTASTIC. 20 per gram sometimes.. 4k + per lb. But i am also in THE worst state to be in. I hope i can be successful and pay off debt and school loans before i move out west where it is more safe to explore this culture i have become fascinated with.

It doesn't have to be violent. The only true revolution is one of the mind. Once people begin to see what is happening they will respond by just stopping. Imagine a global strike, unless you are working in emergency response or something as necessary you just chill out and help your neighbors. Stop going to your cubicle.

I REALLY want you to be right on this. violence sucks. I love the idea of peaceful revolution and civil disobedience. It is half the reason I grow.

Also addressing the thread topic. I believe the best thing for basement growers to do when legalization happens is unite and make companies together based on quality. Quality is going to be the key to survival for the little man in a legalized market. It is one thing they will be able to do that the largest corporations can't. It is just not possible to produce the best of the best on a global corporate level. There high end product would be half as potent.

Also the little man will be able to make custom hash blend at request.

Another point is when this first starts happening there will be many frequent law changes regulating the market which will suck for everybody, but it will be much easier to adapt a business of 100 people than 100,000.

If people are smart there are many advantages to being a small business in a fairly free market. There is money to be made if you can find a nitch, and be very good in that nitch

once you can grow in a garden, yields go so much up, youd be selling pounds for pennies sooner or later.

i guess the black market dealers can just turn to selling heroin or something, probably gonna be years till people come to accept that particular drug.
