I have a cross of Apollo 13 and Double Purple Doja that has that crazy racy effect. First it couchlocks you...like putting on a seatbelt in a car... and then it speeds you up and literally makes your heart POUND. Normally most stuff that people consider racy doesn't affect me in that way, but this stuff is nightmare racey... I am surprised that there are people who really dig this feelin!

Ya I gave my ex girlfriend this stuff and she stopped smoking for a few months..I found that I enjoyed mixing the high w more sedative stones...I would smoke a small binger of this then smoke a bowl of og...like a large cup of coffee and a joint..ha..but I don't really smoke 'just' chem99

---random thoughts on some of the things we saw this year:
--valley x18...initially liked gts black pheno but thought that was the only pheno so far..I was wrong..smoketrees yellow pheno really impressed me second time around...can't wait to see further work w these genes
----the. Tahoe x dago walker is excellent..but still a bit much dago..I am starting to get interested in these reversed crosses as far as adding a second round of pollen and seeing if traits can be isolated using r pollen.

Hey ST - I think that might make a nice MILF especially when REv finds out what pollen was used! Was that Shadow Haze bx1 or bx2 pollen that was used? Got some bx3 pollen for Nomaad to pollinate his Cough (NL5 x Haze) cut last year but it got cooked in transport. REv and I don't talk anymore so won't burn any bridges for me lol.

I've lost track of what bx pollen went where so hopefully Sub remembers

Maybe it was bx2 pollen that Nomaad got. I've really lost track. For sure though that Chem4Haze is looking primo. Interesting in that it seems dad stomped all over mom except for the structure cause not even close to Metal Haze but if anything more like Iron Cindy or REv's Cindy line. I'm guessing it'll go at least 9 weeks unless the C99 part takes over in the flower time department. I'm really hoping it's more like 10 weeks. It's been years since I've grown Chem 4 but based on the work that Sub has done looks like REv's C99 line is very dominant.

The pack just says shadow haze..got some shadow haze bx seeds at same time I think...everything revs c99 pollen touched ..my selections or others' males..its pretty dominant...as fun as she is im hoping for a mh dominant plant..got a few more seeds too..

It's probably bx1 pollen and those are most likely bx1 beans or maybe could be bx2 beans but would have probably marked them that way. I'm positive Nomaad got the bx2 pollen. That was sent snail mail and it cooked in the summer heat. If you have SH beans then you can probably breed out the C99. REv does have bx2 beans

A fair question - I haven't actually - just comparable bud size to what I've seen from the SDF crew with 600w+ setups. 1240's stems are about the size of your pinky, yielding about 2-2.5oz per - granted those are all super sativa crosses, hes in soil, and its his first grow. Should be interesting to put some real yielders in there.

The downside is that they don't push nearly as wide of an area, they basically shoot straight down with about a 30 degree spread of light from the fixture, so a 3x3 basically has to run 1000w (2 500s side by side) - a 4x4 would probably do better with 2 500w fixtures flanking a 240w. Of course, I'm getting picky at this point, if a setup doesn't hold at least 1200umol at the canopy (600w HPS brightness), I'm lowering the lights and adding wattage. 1240's was holding over 2k consistently, which is the same reading I get when I walk outside - in July. (1100umol is = shade outside on my meter)

It gets expensive to run LEDs that dense, but long term cost is reduced substantially when your lights only increase temps by 1-2 degrees over ambient.
