i notice they NEVER show the FUCKING HUGE LINE you have to endure to even buy your medicine.....
They showed it the first show. My wife looked up and said good god its like the line in Costco.
And Stephen Hawkings girlfriend. Great they showed her, but it felt rigged, and not a random interview. Of course there are formalities to do such interviews. But they go from someone in Buyers dept that looks like PAT handling buds with no gloves and dried skin on his fingers. YUMMMY PAT. Then to her. I wonder how this shit works...like, do these Harborside people get to view the shows before they went out, and if so did they really approve all that? Or is it a handshake and nod, then Production team goes and edits it all to hell. Are these producers and edit peeps pro ganja? With the editing nowadays you would think they could rig a better outcome. I dunno...this GM is what kills me. Yelp> Meeting> softball team, does not make better quality herbs. Its was an issue of top shelf gear then to team building.

I think the marijuana inc or whatever with the hot asian chick from Nat Geo did a better job.
This was a much better show if you have not watched it I recommend you do so. Very good the best of them all by far.

Surprised no one has mentioned the "mask"...ridiculously obvious that it was a pathetic attempt to fill a little time in the show, and completely staged either by the employees or discovery channel or both. They tell steves bro to come check it out and its fucking gone wtf! soooo lame.
regarding the mites coming from or hitchin a ride into HS.
think about how many growers or wannabe growers go in there to pick up clones and bring bugs in. Hundreds of people every single day, I bet 10%+ have mold/bug issues (probably >50% in all actuality)

does anyone think it is a possibility that the producers/editors of this show are anti-legalization ..... or anti-canna ? or are they just extremely un-bias and have no option but to edit in the goofy shit they do because these people are just down-right goofy fucks?
If I were filming/producing/editing this I would try my damndest to NEVER show a lot of things that they show, but the one thing that i will touch on that bugs the fuck out of me is when they film them "medicating" all day while on the job or before a game that requires extreme stamina and focus. As an outsider looking in, this just looks like a bunch of "addicted" people taking shots of jagermeister while working, or 9 people saying cheers then downing double shots of jagermeister before they go out to play ball, or snorting pain killers while at your work desk, or lining up 9 lines of pain killers for the team to get the nods while attempting to hit or catch a ball... I think this is what the public will compare these guys blazing out to....
I challenge you to name one medication that you know of that can be broadcasted on national television and then used constantly thoughout the day because its fun to take? All of the medications i know of that are fun to take will quickly get you labeled an addict, and will guarantee you a one way ticket to a rehab facility or jail.
now YOU AND I both know what I am getting at here... and as marijuana lovers who are more educated about marijuana then the average joe, if we were producing/filming/editing this show, you would think that we would NOT show these guys "abusing" the "medication" simply for the sake of not making us all look like fucktards, guilty by association....
the fact that these editors/producers agreed to show these guys smoking up is just fucked up and makes me personally feel that this show was created by someone who is AGAINST the movement....

When I first heard this show was coming to air on national TV I was very excited. Then I actually watched the first three episodes and was very disappointed with it. You can't try harder to make a mockery of the medical community. I have an actual medical reason to posses a medical card and these assholes are making it a joke. No thanks to them, they will probably setback the medical movement years simply because they lack complete professionalism. Shit!

I really disagree. I've spent some time talking with these guys recently and I've been impressed. These guys are committed to making a positive impact in the medical cannabis community. They also happen to be one of the biggest,and being the biggest they get a lot of bad press. The positive things and impacts they bring to their communities are often overlooked. They also told me they have no control over how the show is edited.
They are making strides to promote more environmentally friendly grows and are really searching for high CBD strains. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get growers to grow high CBD strains that aren't a kush or Diesel and dont yield the best? Most growers are not interested unless it makes them more money.
I'm a very judgmental person and I believe Harborside has good intentions and cares about having a positive role in the medical marijuana movement.

You're right I think; Steve's brother who runs the store day to day is clearly, and constantly ripped. A couple of the 20 somethings going, "yeh, chronic pain dude" .... right.
But they've also gone out of their way to show a lot of people who really believe it might help are pursuing as true alternative therapy.
The episode with the father and the autistic son just tore me up, as a father myself, the dad wasn't even a smoker, he's was just looking for somethng, anything that would help him with his boy.
I thought that was the best part of the shows so far .... I'm a cynic about this stuff, even though I smoke and I am a cancer survivor, but I don't think any compassionate person would deny that father the right to try this.

Yeah, you aren't getting it. They need to create a desire for the product based on its strong points. It isn't their job to tell people what they don't like about something, but it is their job to tell people what the DO like about it. If someone asks a direct question that is different, but if someone asks about potency for instance, don't tell people that the high from cut X is less potent than the last batch of cut X. Tell them it is stronger than cut Y which may be the next best option available.

I've dealt with mediocre, but it's priced accordingly and I don't pawn it off or play it up as something that it's not.
