Hi Edi. I would be happy to answer your questions. I stuck with straight 6/9 for the male during its pollen release with no additives (ie KoolBloom). I think it would be more important to veg the male properly to attain the desired amount of pollen.

I used 4 female plants under a 400 watt HPS in a 8 sq. foot closet. I would shake the male aggressively over the females and a cloud of pollen would fill the space. I repeated this for about 6 days from 15-21 days 12/12. I yielded over 2000 viable beans per plant (8000+ total) even with this small setup. Seems like the application of pollen between week 2 and week 3 makes the most seeds.

Side note - It bugs the crap out of me to see breeders release only a handful of limited edition packs. I know first hand that is very easy to make a shit load of seeds!!!

Hope this helps.

Update Coming Soon...

Update Coming Soon...

I have not been posting veg shots, but I have the following confirmed females from my seed making ventures:

2x (Fairytale Mix #2 x BOG Sour Lifesaver)
2x (Fairytale Mix #5 x BOG Sour Lifesaver)
2x (Fairytale Mix #7 x BOG Sour Lifesaver)
1x (BOG Sour Lifesaver F2)

I still have 4 Sour Lifesaver F2 that have not shown sex. Space will be opening up in the flowering room in about two weeks, but I will post some pics before then.

Stay tuned...

Hey WFF,
I am really surprised more people didn't latch on to this thread. It was so well done and the plants were grown beautifully. I am about to transplant 6 FT mix that are @ 7 wks old and still in solo keg cups..argh..lol..I know i know.
I am hoping most are like your number 2. I'm not real interested in a Querkle influence but all the others excite me.Not that Querkle was bad..I had three phenos. Two green and one purple. One of the green phenos was most potent but overall a tolerance was built quickly and they weren't my cup of tea.I look forward to these and will let you know if anything really awesome shows up..

Hi Buddle! Thanks for your kind words! I wish you nothing but success on your Fairytale run! FT100 did such a FANTASTIC job on the parent selection that you are sure to find a winner.

Thanks Bro! I do indeed have a lifetime supply of seeds! I did get a little (1/3 of normal) bud on the run, but having the seeds for long term security means far more to me than a lb of dank.

I uploaded photos from my Fairytale x Sour Lifesaver crosses, but I never posted them here. I am going to post some pics that are about 6 weeks into flowering. These are all that I have, but it will give a good representation of the lines.

Sour Lifesaver F2

Sour Lifesaver F2

Just for reference, I have included some shots of my SLS F2. There were taken about a week after the other posts above. I think around Day 50.

I think it is pretty safe to say that my BOG Sour Lifesaver daddy was a real stud! I only ran a very small amount of each new cross as I was limited on space, but everyone was fire in its own way.

My Sour Lifesaver female (used for F2) is the best plant that I have ever grown or smoked. It is a lemon-lime sledge-hammer, but its only shortfall is a moderate yield. I selected this father for taste and potency as main criteria.

For each Fairytale cross, there was a ~15-20% reduction in yield, but potency increased for all with unique lemon tastes mixed in as well.

#2 crosses were my favorite, followed closely by #5.

My #2 crosses showed to be the best yielders with 9.5 potency and lemon fuel taste, and this is the line that I am looking forward to really getting into.

#5 had the best taste of the bunch with improved potency over the mother, but the only downside is that the stems were weak and required staking and lots of support. This does not suite my growing style very well, but I think there could be some very specimens in there.

#7 cross was very good, but I think there are better examples of the cross that I need to grow out. It was a mix of lemon and chem, but the yield was not great.

All and all, I could not be more happy with my first breeding effort. I have an enormous amount of viable and highly desirable seeds to last many lifetimes, but I have to say it is just a really incredible experience to initiate and watch the entire life-cycle of the plant we love. Every experienced grower should do a seed run!!!
