can you recomme me some good oldschool strains which are still available?
i tryed

afghan
panama red
and the oxacan
andparvati (rsc)

but i need more to find the perfect strain for me

Have not tried it myself but read a report here on IC that spoke highly of Gypsy Nirvana's Thai Stick Sativa. You just had to grow out quite a large number of girls to find one that worked well indoors.

Personally I like Durban but haven't tried the commercial seed offerings. Wonder if any of them are good. Anyone tried Sensi's?

i love weed buti hate high potency and this is the reason why i search for landraces.

i smoked some jamaican brick weed in amsterdam and it was the best smoke for me.

Ahh I know exactly what you mean bro!

I'm mainly into the potent stuff but every now and then I really love weed like that too. I especially love filling a briar pipe (the ordinary "tobacco" type of pipe) packed really tight with bud like that and then just slowly smoking it and enjoying the moment. Not really ending up high/stoned but just... feeling good like you say. If anything, calm.

Some Durban can be like that, but I bet the commercial seeds have been bred to be consistently more potent.

One of the very best strains I've grown in this regard is an old Danish outdoor sativa called Typhoon. Can be grown indoors too, with a little bit of hermie problems maybe but nothing that can't be handled. Outdoors it can be grown even very north. Seeds should still be available somewhere, at least a few years ago a couple of different breeders were selling it. But making more yourself is recommended as many more potent Nordic outdoor strains have appeared and might start to make it a bit of an endangered species.

I got it back in the early 90's it wasnt nothing to look at it was always brown ,& flat . The uncrushed seeds always germinated well.

when i visit amsterdam all my freinds are smoking sour diesel and co
most of what they smoke are new white strains.i hate it.
personally smoking white strains is (for me )like drinking a whole bottle of vodka.i have a low thc tolerance and i love the flavour of good brick weed from jamaica or thailand.

have to second chase's suggestion about checking ACE seeds....if they don't have something to suit your need, I'd be very surprised....great breeders of good ol' fashioned landrace based weed.

Never boast my own strains but if you are looking for a stable landrace look at Farah Kush, 100% original cultivar and very stable, you will find your mother in 1 pack for sure , it has a very balanced high and great flavor. It doesn't have that kind of high that you speak of that a lot of modern hybrids have... it is hard to explain but i know what you mean. A lot of modern hybrids produce highs that just don't seem.... clean...?

FK has high potency bro, but like i said it is very balanced with a very warm feeling, no anxiety, trust me it is what you are looking for, it is my most medical strain. It doesn't yield the best indoors but it is ok, best in Hydro, or outside for excellent yields.

This is my point , the seeds from the brick could be grown beter than the brick .If they arent grown in a feild , then they can be given individual attention , harvested at the right time , flushed properly ,cured in a jar instead of fermenting.The Jamakin im talking about was strong , stronger than the Mexi brick that everyone was smoking state side.
