I really do not understand you comment on Clean Green???

Clean Green....is not just in the bay area.....I am a Clean Green Grower and I am not anywhere close to the bay area. Your right there are some strict guidelines...and the learning curve is very different going from traditional nutrients to Clean Green...the program is not even close to a scam.

I will say....In my experience....most collectives.....do not care....if its clean green...organic........sprayed with DDT...or whatever....they are only interested in price....and do not care where or how it was grown......now of course....the DDT....reference....is way over the top.....but really...they do not care.......So in my mind.....having a program in place...that details excataly how the medicine was grown is a step in the right direction.

To all the haters.....about the show......as people who believe in the movement of 215....we should all be glad we even have a show.....and I see this as nothing but positive.

Peace

Couple things that bother me about the 2nd episode.

1st. Clean Green, Clean Green is a program mostly in the Bay area that supposedly require strict and frequent inspections and other requirements along with a very expensive fee(ten of thousands). They market it on specific product with a special sticker. Now in the episode they said the Jon was clean green certified. WTF? the nail in the coffin as far as me believing any thing with them or their program isn't a scam.

So you and Jon grow the same way under the same guidelines, hun?

I said mostly because i can get a CG 1/8 of smoke almost every day in the bay area. in So- cal and San Diego I have only seen it from time to time. that why i wrote MOSTLY.

Are you claiming to be clean green because you follow their Guidelines independently or you're a paid certified producer?

Do you wanta tell me ASA isnt a scam?

2nd episode was much better...

good to see that the producers are showing the sympathetic side of MMJ, tear jerking scenes with the father and his kid, they are showing real patients instead of all the 18 yr old kids walking in there to buy pot for their friends outside...most americans who watch this should side with MMJ the way they portray it.

spider mite problem was funny..he really let that batch slack. if your top colas are that covered in webs you got lazy period...if you check your nugs at least every 2-3 days that should never happen. good to see that he was doing organic and didnt spray down his crop with floramite like the asian triad growers do.....those guys cant handle their weed terryn was acting like a 8th grader who just smoked for the first time lol..

another funny part was when john was driving back after he couldnt sell his spidermite infested herbs...and he tried to play it off like he wasnt going to sell it HAHAH..yeah right john, that LB probably got sold for 2500 to some black market broker, and is probably in a flat rate box to new york right about now...black market smokers dont do spider mite excrement tests lol.

I've had spider mites, hell I've had spider mites this week but I've never had mite webs that spaned across the fan leaves. The boy's a recliner, you know lazy boy.

I could not even get through one episode....

This show gives everyone has anything to do with cannabis a bad name..... and the people in the show have no idea how stupid they are coming off ..... or maybe they do..... :chin:

and the are charging more for a slice then I pay in my area.... in the backwoods of the east coast.....

they could afford to sell it for less the half of what they charge.....

terrible show..... terrible dispensary . IMO :tiphat:

with any luck they will get the karma back that they deserve....

edit.. that came off a little harsh.... I should not rush to judgement..... just a first impression.

anyone who is bringing any relief to the seriously ill....no matter how much they are charging ..
deserve some respect.

and any show that is bringing the MMJ industry to the masses in an even Quasi positive light, is a step in the right direction...

the second episode was much better. they showed a legit side of mmj instead of the owners acting like high school kids giggling. it is weird though to see people trimming, rollin in 50lb CO2 tanks, spidermites, cutting clones, you know all of the stuff we do and deal with! Lol!

That you would defend this collection of misfits, that need to be high to work, walk, talk, sit or just get through the day under the guise it is a medical condition speaks more about you then me.

Life is not a medical condition.

I don't care if they get high. Just don't tell me life is a medical condition.

These guys are as phony as they come. That they duped you into thinking they are fighting the good fight is pathetic.

There are many uses for medical mj. Giving a speech is not one of them. It's about the money to these clowns, contrary to what you want to believe.

I'd have more respect for all of these clowns if they would just come out and say that they like to be high all of the time....

clearly you have a small mind. Really lacking depth.

i think its pretty much agreed by the majority that they should not be "medicating" while on the job, and at any point they can. Yeah, that's a goof up on their behalf...

BUT, you need to think deeper about what these guys are truly doing, and that is what somebody else just mentioned, they are DESENSITIZING the public... not only are they desensitizing, but they are EDUCATING the public. These guys are sacrificing EVERYTHING by exposing the extreme potential, and the positivity of marijuana with complete disregard for their freedom. Yeah sure there is money to be made, but HELL, these guys would NOT be able to get their word out to the people if it weren't for the money they generate.... for a bunch of "misfits," they sure are doing a lot more to help society then most of you "down on life" fools who post here...

furthermore susan,

the money they generate can be viewed as something else = ACCEPTANCE.... each dollar can represent a vote... a vote that represents the acceptance of the people. These D'Angelo guys are pretty much showing the American people that there are MANY Americans who risk their freedom by registering for a medical marijuana card and buying marijuana from a dispensary.

I praise the D'Angelos actually. You guys who are bitching about their poor business skills, and pretty much just bitching just to bitch because you are most likely a bitch...yeah..say that ten times fast bitches....

by agreeing to film themselves, these guys decided to etch a HUGE spot in the history books of marijuana, and perhaps the history of the USA. You need to look beyond the money, the goofy personalities, and the goofy people to see what this show REALLY represents and the real impact it is having/will have on our society......

mark my words: this show WILL have a profound impact on the marijuana industry.......only time will tell...

Did that guy let his garden get that infested for the purpose of creating drama for the show? I mean if not, you have to be real unobservant twords your plants not to catch those things long before getting that bad. That is unless you guys out in Cali have some sort of super mites that can do that in a week?

That's what I was thinking too.

Especially when he went into Harborside and they tried to give him 38 for his pack and he was like "last time you gave me 4." Which tells me he must know what he's doing, so how did he miss the mites?

Def manufactured for TV. :(

I agree this was a lot better than the first. I certainly understand that regardless of any realities, this and any other show is there for entertainment and not to educate the masses. However, we all know people are impressionable and it is far from uncommon for people to accept entertainment as fact. But at the end of the day, the more that our counterculture can get in the faces of people outside the culture, the more likely they will be to accept it. I get it...

So, yeah... I thought this episode did far much more for the movement and for Harborside. I thought Steve looked like he had his shit together more than in the pilot. The epileptic kid, and the denial of Jon's mite weed were all good things and I think we all agree that those are the things we want to see people come away with from this or any show that is casting a light on legally distributed MJ. Medical need, safer product and the governments aggressive actions to defend 70+ year old lies.

Some of the people posting in this thread really don't have a clue. Gotta roll up my pants cuz the ignorance is getting deep. Every person on the show is a front for the people that own the place. Do a search for Don Duncan Harborside and see what you find.

I enjoyed the old lady who says that cannabis helps her with pain and the opiates she's used in the past left her mushy.

It is hard to speak of prison cells for people who provide relief to every demographic of patient.

Hopefully this show helps California pass the regulate like wine act!

:joint:

the show might help give unfamiliar people a different view on mmj, maybe a more favorable opinion i dont think it will have a huge impact like some people are posting. lets be honest at least half or more of the viewers are stoners or people who are already pro marijuana and the TOTAL amount of people viewing this show overall is probably not very much. its on discovery channel for crying out loud!!!!! this show is not a game changer i my opinion, not to mention i still feel like it could piss the feds off and force the feds to make an example out of harborside. if the feds really want to put a dent in mmj taking out harborside would go a long way. a lot of clubs would decide to close on their own if the feds took out harborside...............now if this whole Don Duncan thing is true.....well then i'm not sure what to think!
