Sorry holmes, I have to wait for firs harvest to get a camera:( Money's tight and life is rough! Bills are for the fucking birds. Lol. Right now I have 4 confirmed AK-47x (C99xDC) females and two clones from each rooted in my aero tub, as well as 2 Chuck-D x (C99xDC). All from seed except the cuttings of course. I have a screen about 8-9" in diameter around my 150. I put the arc tube slightly above the tops to encourage the stretch and then slightly below when they stop. I have to get the clones out soon, I don't want them to take too long to reveg. as I've started flowering about a week and a half ago.

After the stretch, I switched out the 150 for a 250. Plants are looking great, about 15% orange hairs, I'm guessing another 1-1.5 weeks. I have started my flush with 1 oz./ gal Clearex (170 ppm). I'm hoping to pick a winner on this run as the clones are re-vegging and awaiting my final decision of who will stay and who will go. The inferior genetics will be given to friends because I can't let decent females suffer the fate of the garbage, just because I'm so picky... how would you feel?! lol! The plants look great buddy, keep up the great work and keep it green. Stay safe too!:)

I was running them on 13/11 until this morning (my environmentalist side took over) and they were in stretch faze for 3 weeks, if my memory's right... And it seemed that stretch is nowere near finish... Thats how i got such a jungle-box... with 11 plants in it...

Greetings and love to all of you...

Love the vertical Micro!!!

This is a 220 watt vertical PLL cab. According to a power consumption meter I bought, it draws a max of 236 watts including my sound camouflage air purifier on top of the cabinet, all actual venting, and seedling mats to keep their toes warm in the winter. Less than 2 sq ft of floorspace of which about 1/3 is my intake stack. Idea being that I am forcing all intake air across the bulbs. I cool this cabinet with a very quiet 120mm pc fan at 7.5 volts pulling through a carbon tray about 6x10 and 1" deep. If the room is dead silent you can hear a slight hum, but otherwise it is fully stealth. The cabinet is re purposed from a pair of matching night stands that connected to my headboard. One is left alone and the other was modified to look like a file cabinet but the face pulls off completely to access the grow.

I have been using this cabinet for almost 3 years but just installed the vertical lighting a few months ago and the pictures below are the first 3 plants that I have pulled out of the vertical set up. My current goal is to veg my plants higher to take advantage of the the full length of the bulbs.

This first one was a seedplant that was started under the overhead lighting and switched right after the stretch. This was 21 g dry. This is a KCB Sweet dreams and is nothing to write home about. Freebie from a grower friend and already culled.

This is Satori and I trimmed it intact because it was so leafy and I wanted to see how it looked mostly trimmed. This one was also 21 grams though it sure seemed like it was going to be more and weighted in at 101 grams wet.

This is a bagseed plant I call Shift and it is supposedly (wwxtw) x ?male. I believe this to be a high cbd strain, but it has never been tested so idk. This dried at 17 grams but was only about half way up the lights and isn't a good producer to start with.

My veg area is tiny so I had to modify my middle shelf and install a down facing bulb so that plants can stretch the full length. Not ideal but it works fine as you can see with the new girls that are in the cabinet.

I feed maxigrow and superthrive in veg and maxibloom, super thrive and silicate potassium in flower. My medium is mostly 1/2 perlite and 1/2 fine coco, but I also have some chunky coco in there as well. I reuse the mix after rinsing it out but I add a pinch of epsom salts per liter to combat the cal/mag issues inherent with coco. I bottom feed everything from my clones and moms to my flower plants. Everything is sitting in a pan of nutes with no air or pumps of any kind. I flush the moms out once a moth or so and repot, replace, or root prune where needed.

Cool thread. Gotta keep my tabs on it so you guys don't sneak any innovations by me.

Tilt should be in this thread. He's the father of "vert PLL" as far as I know.

I was getting ready to build a vert pll cabinet when i ended up buying a house. Since I got the house I went with something a little bigger (my 800w colosseum) and I'm working hard to get my #s where they need to be. 0.58 gpw was my result from the first run and with the modifications I'm working on (drip fed drain to waste) i expect a big improvement on the next run.

Anybody who wants to can join the "micro growers group" I started. You just go to the link and click join. No approval from me necessary. Lots of CFL, PLL and small HPS growers in the group already.

Welcome to the vert family, most on here would consider my little vert space a micro grow too.. I can relate to micro vert, vertical growing should be most interesting to micro growers as we all seem to be trying to get a lot from a little space...
