so, who is waking missing Thanksgiving dinner to be in line or waking up stupid early to go stand in line?

personally i think all the electronic stuff they door buster sell is complete crap. oh shit, i got a 70" lcd for $100!!! ya, but its in 240 resolution, no digital or hdmi inputs, super motion blurr and shitty colors......

Amazon is VERY GOOD, they already have there Black Friday sales with free shipping and price guarantees with no standing in line.....

going to grab a 56" lcd with 600 hz and wifi built in from Amazon....

i go for the door busters at home depot and lowes and stores that there will be NO LINES at.....

last year i got a 6 piece Makita lithium 18v tool set for $150 at Home Depot!! best purchase i did in years!!

going for tool sets and a tool chest this year....

Consider DeWalt or Makita for future cordless tools - batteries last longer.

not sure why i put Ryobie, i meant Makita....

i switched to this from a dewalt drill that lasted me 8 years. the battery dies, so i was going to buy another battery when i saw this deal. a dewalt 14 volt battery for $75 or this the whole set that is lithium 18volt for $150? and they charge in 15 minutes? SOLD!!!!

Yeah, can't beat a 15 minute charge. Eight years on the DeWalt battery is pretty good too. I have 12v and 18v Ryobi drivers. The 12v battery lasted less than 2 years and the 18v less than one. Replacements are almost as much as new drivers.

I'm probably gonna buy the instructions on Ebay to cook the micro-shorts out of the batteries. It takes a 12v car battery and a volt meter. If it works I'll post the instructions.

Look like a BOSS to your buddies in your grow room with these bad mofo's

FiskarsShopBoss_4.jpg

the Fiskars ShopBoss, a sucessor, of sorts, to the multi-scissors the company shipped last year. Fiskars is the Finnish giant of bladed tools, renowned for generations for its knives and other blades. Gareth really likes the ShopBoss though he has a few reservations:

The heart of the ShopBoss is a pair of titanium nitride-coated snippers/shears. The bottom blade is serrated and the snips are made to cut through light metals, carpet, cardboard, plastic stock, etc. They made easy work of most everything I chewed into with them, even some fairly thick acrylic. They cut CD media very easily and cleanly and would be a good tool to grab when CoasterBot building. It was a joy to process a giant pile of boxes, plastic banding, and cardboard destined for the recycling center.

Surrounding the snips are a number of other useful widgets: a wire-cutting jaw, a twine/binding strap cutter, bottle opener, and a pegboard hanging loop. The ShopBoss also comes with a plastic holster that clips onto your belt. It includes a pencil holder, a tape-cutting hook, and a metal deburring file (basically a piece of plastic rod).

My wife is going out tonight after dinner and again at 6am tomorrow.
F that noise, i'll be hitting the tube on the couch and eating leftovers while shopping online.

LED is the Best now on TV's. It has higher color brillance. Sharp's are killer diller, but harder to set up than user friendly Samsungs. You can download apps for both, off their networks. I'm still tryin to decide Sharp or Samsung?

I went back and forth and got a Samsung 42" plasma early this year at a killer price and am super happy with it. Like Brother Bear said I stay away from stores this weekend...screw that madness. Great deals to be had all year long if you do research and are patient enough.

From what I understand, studies have been conducted showing that "Black Friday" IS NOT the best time to get a deal on goods, and that the deals that do exist are on junk products. Secondly the study found that THE best time to get deals is between the 1st Tuesday and the 13th of December.

Black Friday was coined because it is when companies make large profits putting "black ink" in the books. Any way the whole black friday concept isnt as true, as people once thought. Sorry I don't have the study to link to.
