Loss of dreams from cannabis?

yea the prophets(think thats the word) like nostrodamus smoked for a month straight n made their predictions from their wicked ass dreams because they werent smoking canabis... i know i had some wierd ass deams when i've stopped for whatever reason. kinda like some dejavu type shit.
so are pot heads the real prophets?? or are we just to stoned to think anything of our dreams n document it??

I never remember my dreams when I smoke regularly, but after a few days break I always do.

I have read that you only remember dreams when you wake up in the middle of them. So it could be that the bud makes us not dream, or it could be that we just dont wake up during them to remember.

Some of my dreams piss me off.

Like the one where I was driving my brand new 911 Turbo S (no idea how I got it), then awoke to find no Turbo S.

i smoke oil every day i still remember some of my dreams(mostly bits and peices) and my partner tells me that i talk fairly regular in my sleep. i agree though so hard to recall them at all unless they are very memorable or interrupted. last part of a dream i remember is what seemed like thousands and thousands of eyes flashing one set at a time (all different races genders) very quickly past my eyes til i woke up with the feeling that i knew all the eyes i had seen.

I don't know about all this you guys. I dream fairly often with cannabis in my system. I am a everyday smoker for 15 years. However when I stop I do get crazy dreams, but I don't think this is due to cannabis itself. I believe that when the body has to make a big change, (like lack of cannabis) somehow this creates more dreams. Has anybody here stopped smoking cigarettes? That was some of the most active dreaming I have ever had in my life. Crazy Crazy dreams. Now did I dream while being a cigarette smoker, sure. Then why the crazy dreams when I stopped?

I also get crazy dreams if I don't eat for a day. I think it is a natural response the human body gives when stressed.

I smoke every day. I remember some dreams, mostly they are boring dreams about buying coffee or watering my plants.

I eat cannabis (mostly in capsules) every night specifically for insomnia. I have vivid dreams every night, assuming I get to sleep. I don't think I've ever gotten so high that I didn't dream that night. I also take melatonin and lecithin, which are supposed to promote REM sleep.

Edibles work much better for me in terms of sleep. Smoking or vaporizing works too, but I just wake up an hour or two later. One of my pills can help me sleep 6 hours or more. Sometimes on the weekends I'll keep the vaporizer on the nightstand next to the bed. If my cannabis pill wears off after 5 or 6 hours, I'll hit the vaporizer and go back to sleep for another hour or two. Sometimes I can get back into the same dream if I was only awake for a short time.

Today, a friend of a friend finally hooked me up. I have been abstaining for the last 3 days. I haven't and most likely won't comsume any today.

Why?

Because the last 3 nights I have had the craziest, most vivid dreams ever!

DMT a'int got bleep on these visions.

Tonight should be a blast!

I've noticed I'm waking up earlier, usually from a dream, be wide awake and alert and ready to rock but instead choose to sleep in a little longer and as soon as I'm asleep again resume dreaming almost right away. I've gotten 10-15 minute little 'dream sessions' back to back while I wake up over the course of an hour or so.

I thought it took time for REM to kick in, not an instant thing once you're lights out.

weird.

I'm even boring in my dreams.

Same thing here Zen Master.

I'll wake up, get a drink of water, and by the time I lay my head back down, it seems I'm neck deep in another wacky dream.

I slept in a bit this morning and every time I nodded off, I was dreaming. I have been smoking most days for a month or more. I do not notice regular smoking decreases my dreaming at all.

I dreamed last night that I grabbed my friend's iphone and said, "Siri, email file named porn to mom."

That's strange, I smoke everyday but I still have dreams. Some nights I don't but I have some seriously crazy dreams and I have them more than I don't.

When I stop smoking, I dream like a mofo. They are so vivid, I find reasons to go sleep. I have been able to re-enter a dream I woke up from, well the same situation anyway.

I don't dream as much, because I have conquered all these things:

I never fall. I am never chased by a beast. The cops never catch me. The motorhome never goes out of control. Chucky never comes to get me.

I have acted lucidly to reduce everyone of those threats.

If you fall, feel the power of the falling as your own strength, I usually stop falling or start sway falling and control it. I also started to admire and like falling in my dreams, it started to be fun.

The beast, if you do chose to stop and fight it, it could either go away right away...or it will be stronger than you thought. I noticed the beast represents things that make you feel invisible during the day and that if you treat it as a fragment of what you need to defeat instead of thinking of it as a whole being, you'll become stronger. All I know about the beast, is you stop - changing what the beast knew about you and then attack it to the fullest extent.

The cop dreams are easy, because they aren't cops. Usually when any agents or cops are in my dreams, there are always mushrooms and I can always hear where everyone of them is that is chasing me. Basically, the cops never catch me. My running, taunting, leaving false tracks, throwing rocks at house......... defeats their created effort to be perceived as a threat.

I would have a dream, common to most of a vehicle with the gas down, that would let up. I would have it alot. It would always happen in a confined area. A motorhome in a confined area with the gas held down when there are pillars and cars around is nuts. After a while of these dreams, I learned to perceive everything around me and drive with the gas down, not hitting anything - why? It's because I didn't think I could drive, I knew I could - because I never crashed. I never crashed, I was a genius at getting my adrenaline high off parking lot and enclosed car ramps driving a motorhome with the gas all the way down.

And finally Chucky. I seen the Chucky movies as a kid. One time I had a terrible lucid dream he was in the basement and I was by my friends, and he called for me and my feet started moving toward the basement. By the time I went past the kitchen to walk toward my death, I woke up. Next few times I ran from him. One time I had found him in a sock drawer, and instead of being a vagina, I GOT SO MAD THAT CHUCKY WAS NOW THE VICTIM. He was strong and wielding a knife. I threw him. He ran into the woods and I told him I know he operates, that he isn't a killer. So he aggressed me more quickly in the woods because of the taunt. Basically I motivated him to come out and fight, so he would be hiding in the woods. He was really strong, I could see how one wrong slip fighting a little person who is that strong and violent, you would die. I thwacked him against trees, laughing. Then when he got up he told me that he couldn't believe what I had done and I told him "I know" in regards that I know what it is to be the aggressor like he was to me.

So I fought the shit out of stuff, and now I don't have dreams I can remember. I believe dreams give you a choice.

Another thing: If I feel like I can fly, I definitely am dreaming. I feel this. So I know when I am dreaming. If a wind picks up, it's super easy to lift off, because my ego cannot explain how lift-off is achieved randomly sometimes. Other times I feel I can fly and just start to hover and then take off.

It's so delicate sometimes to fly for me, it's like trying to console velociraptor. Usually my flight always takes me toward danger lol. Powerlines, water. Never hit anything. I have been 4 inches above desolate cold water in a swamp forest with a lot of trees and that is surreal.

watch out, the only reason you will fall flying, is your own senses wondering about the flight. You have to be worrying about flying. You don't have to be worrying about "not flying" Get it?

Dreams are a superkey to the person we can't be, that we might want to be or we feel we should be.
