2000w, 70 plant, 10 Strain - Smash and Grab

Good News. It looks like shortly i will be upgrading this to a 4 light room. Just in time for the beginning of week 5.

I think that should jump the yield up a bit. At first (w two lights) i was thinking ~ 3 # but now with 4000w for the second half of the grow i am thinking that this should be a 4 # harvest.

anyone do this before?

So it finally happened... it is the beginning of week 6 and i got all the ladies moved to a 4k 8' x 8' tent.

I knew that it was going to be a lot of work but i was surprised at how much needed doing. First off, all the plants (when they were in the 4' x 8') were supported by a net trellis. Without that, and the help of leaning on their friends these bitches were limp as wet spaghetti. So that required every branch to be individually staked. While i was down there i cleaned out all the small stuff that wouldn't produce. Since i couldn't get in there until now there was a lot of that.

Anyway, a picture is worth a thousand words...

It's sort of a mess. I still need to do a little more organizational work but really i was not intending to be growing in this space so the plants are not well equip to be so spread out.

That and i really dislike growing a grip of all new (to me) strains and 10 or 11 different types if that. If i knew then what i know now i would have selected only the Deadhead, Blackwater OG and Cheese. Also maybe Hashplant.

how much stretch would you say your experiencing? 2x 3x more? How large were they when you started flowering? How tall are they now?

Nah. I need the lights now for another spot. I dont think these would benefit that much from 6 lights vs the 4.. considering how much light is hitting the ground now.

I am though increasing my yield production from 3 # to 4 # in 4 weeks.

well since there are 11 strains in there it varies a lot. They were all abt 12 - 18 inches at the flip... now they are between 2 ft and 3 1/2 ft.

I must say things are looking DANK in there. They are really loving the extra light and after turning week 7 are really frosting up.

Sorry i missed your question for so long homie. When the plants were in the 4' x 8' most days i was able to leave the tent open all day and just zip it up at lights off. Some days it would stay closed all day.

Now that they are in the 8' x 8' the tent stays closed.

The only problem w leavin the tent open during lights on is forgetting to shut it off. I had an alarm on my phone set for 6:30pm everyday so that i could make sure it was shut by 7.

..back in the day i definitely forgot a few times

I'll come back to finish this thread out but originally i started this as an Alias b/c first; i like sharing with the IC Mag community, second keeping a grow log helps me document and learn and stay on task and third; i had to make the Alias b/c i wasn't exactly following doctors order for a minute there. I'm now back to my numbers so after this one i prob will go back to my old handle.

Spo - i'll be back with numbers. It's looks like the quality is there but i'm not seeing as much weight as i thought. Time will tell. I hate playing the guessing game.
