Complete Noob looking for basic advice!!

Right so first time grower here. Still in design stage but want to know what nutrients to order, so im asking for your help and patience.

I plan on growing an auto flower strain from Short Stuff Seeds in hempy buckets under LED. And to me just coming in on this stuff there seems to be alot of ppl selling nutrients, I just have no idea what im looking at or what I should be looking for. Is this honestly a matter of which ever company an individual trusts or are there companies out there that are selling better nutrients than the rest?

Like I say I have never done this before so its all new to me.

I recommend that you Keep It Simple Stoner and use just Maxibloom powder. There is a very detailed thread about it here.

Maxibloom. 7 grams/gallon of H2o from start to finish. If you google it or search here you'll find tons of information on it.

I tried starting with coco with general organics. Not a good idea. I plan to go with the maxibloom and get some grows under my belt before pi king up anything more complicated

Yeah I read up on that 7g of maxibloom per 1ltr of water. I like in the UK and the only way to get maxibloom is to import it.

So my understanding is that MB is an all rounder nutrient that isnt specifict to getting good taste, big buds, loads of crystals or nothing. It just does them all at once? I need to find the UK alternative.

it seems like people are always recommending Maxibloom instead of dyno-gro bloom. has anyone ever done a side by side comparison with these?

If you use 7g per liter you will fry your plants. It should be 7g per gallon. Best of luck IC.

If Maxibloom is not easily available I would do the Lucas formula with General Hydroponics nutes. I believe the nute profiles are different between US and UK versions so look for a UK version of Lucas formula.

Try 10ml of PBP bloom with 3 ml Cal/Mg per gallon of H2O. Tap water or filtered. Easy Peasy!

Lucas formula with General Hydroponics nutes. Just get a Bloom/Micro nd Cal-mag, done.

weedss you don't need to add calmag to lucas formula. there is cal in the micro and mag in the bloom.

IMHO auto flowers and led's equals a complete waste of time. Good luck with that.
