Strecthing like crazy...

Strecthing like crazy...

Well she is getting really lanky, and so I had to take out the shelf completely and place the carbon scrubber inside of the cab with her. I hope that it will still work enough to cut down the smell when she really starts to produce some nice sized colas. Im really worried about the stretching hopefully she will chill out. Also have been thinking of building a new cab since this one is pieced together so poorly who knows will see after this grow.
Just got that new piece of glass ;p 3 percolators with 6diffusurs on each percolator.

"Canopy"

The beginning of the buds...

Thanks for checking it out hope you enjoyed...

Looking good GB420! Plant looks big and healthy.

How many days since switch to 12/12?

Once you are deep into flowering she will definitely stink up the place with the carbon filter sitting in the cab like that. You should cut a exhaust hole in the cab and run ducting to the fan/filter so the stinky air is only able to go out through the filter.

Maybe I am confused and high though and you already know this... :bigeye:

Hey there DB thanks for checking her out, the girl is 12days into 12/12.

I have been thinking about making an exhaust hole and venting that way but Im just going to wait tell it become necessary.
Hopefully I will have some nice Christmas trees lol.

Well my girlfriend was looking at the plant and smashed it against the ceiling and broke a bunch of the top buds (like a supper cropping). I flipped a bitch none the less. My Farmacists came over and said that it should be fine, and he was the one that gave me the cutting in the get go. My main worry was that it wouldn't heal as fast due to the flower state in which it is in.

Pruning

Well I have been thinking a while about doing the dirty deed and it came down to it tonight.... I gave her a little hair cut :comfort:. I don't know what to think about it....

BEFORE
AFTER
CUTTINGS ....(with no home so I used them as flower pieces around the house)

Pics.... DAY 35 of 12/12

I am thinking about bumping up the nutes to "heavy feeding" but I'm a little hesitant since I killed the last one from over fertilizing. Anyway...

I really want to try a SCROG next round as I wish the canopy was more even. If anyone has any links with "noob" instructions on the training process I would really appreciate it.

"Leaf Removal for Optimum Habit and Even,
Strong Branches

For the most even branching and upright strong
stems, it is recommended to remove the top two
leaves with only the bottom three or four leaves
(nodes) remaining on the cutting. (For larger pots,
more leaves remain after the top leaf removal).
It is critical to do upper leaf removal on plants
that receive a very soft pinch, as complete apical
dominance might not be removed with the pinch.
This slows the growth of top developing branches
and provides optimum light for strong connections
between main stem and branches. Upper leaf
removal acts as a mild growth retardant and generally
results in a more compact, evenly branched plant.
This is especially important for Early Orion Red, Orion
Red and Olympus Red, which tend to have more
dominant branching at the top. Generally all varieties
(especially dark-leaf types) benefit from upper leaf
removal around pinch time.".... written on http://www.syngentaflowersinc.com/pdf/cultural/PoinsettiaCulture.pdf

I was doing some homework for a class regarding the propagation of Poinsettias and I read this and thought that it was interesting. I always throw back and forth the idea of defoliation and this helps me justify it for next time around especially if I try out a SCROG.

Mmmm

Well things are going great!
I have been water with 1.75L on clear days and on fert days I have been using 10ml of Fox Farm "Tiger Bloom", 4-6ml of Bud Candy and 1-2ml of Humboldt "Grow". I'm really hoping for some nice weight at the end as the buds are looking extremely frosty. I can see the trichome structure with my naked eye its pretty amazing how large the individual trichomes are! Well for some bud porn...

A nice little bud :dance013:

Smile for the camera:)

I love the sugar leaf on this little bud!

A little group shot... you can see the difference in the buds in front as they don't get as much light hence the lighter green shade.

Happy holidays & good luck with finals!
