I really don't think too much of it, other than he was a doctor taking advantage of working for a weak, desperate, narcasistic, self absorbed has been pop star trying to resurect his failing career. He made tons of money doing exactly what his patient wanted him to do. But, he broke all the rules of the hypocratic (sp) oath, therefore he should be found guilty. I don't think they'll be too hard on him at sentencing tho.... we'll see.

mgk :tiphat:

not to mention that there would of been NO trial if Conrad kept his mouth shut!!

they had zero on him, only HIS OWN testimony the day after Michael died, which they used against him, which convicted him...

i didn't follow the trial but i know michael jackson was a hardcore drug addict. All this celebration shit is whack in my opinion.

why would the doctor want to kill him? why would the doctor use so much medication? did michael want to die? did michael say or do something to piss the doctor off so bad? was the doctor high on meds or drunk? Or was the doctor just that careless?

he was guilty he put himself in that position. He can only blam himself for doing what MJ wanted him to do...

I kind of think it was analogous to assisted suicide, if he completely disclosed the dangers to MJ. If not, then it should be some type of manslaughter/murder.. Isn't assisted suicide still illegal these days?
The doctor, if competent, would know that the drug cocktails he was administering were extremely dangerous especially in the dosage/methods..

when they went through MJ med records. He got 900mg of Demerol in 3 days that is allot of Opiates in 3 days.. I have been on Opiate therapy for years and have never had that much in 3 days. The most I have taken in 1 day was 150mg..He was a small dude only 130lbs. Im surprised that did not kill him...

MJ would have probably survived if that doc had the right equipment to resuscitate him. He also needed a nurse there to help him..This was a preventable death

so basically michael jackson paid the doctor lots of money to give him all the drugs he requested to feel good until it was too much and he died... and if that doctor didn't do it, jackson would've found one that would.

Dude prescribed Propofol as a fucking sleep aid? Thats like giving someone chemotherapy cause they're tired of getting haircuts. I got zero sympathy for him or MJ... we make are beds and we lay in them.

Involuntary Manslaughter is the charge ??

He can't Plead to that if he has a License. ......Involuntary ?? That Dude ordered 4 gallon of the stuff and even didn't have a flat bed for the use of it when administered. He pleaded innocent...Found guilty.

Should be a stiff sentence as far as having a license and pleading Involuntary.

Anyways..Up to 4 years in prison and may be less time for that because of overcrowding...That's prison..sent him to county.

He did it for the money...plain and simple....That's the REAL Charge.

How many charges can be related to money ? Fraud,Espionage,money-laundering,unbecoming a citizen, bribery, tax evasion....The list goes on.
