Yes, I know. Im starting this late but better than never.
A quick documentation of Nirvana's Feminized Bubblicious.
Im doing a soil grow under a single 400 watt HPS. A simple mix using Espoma organic soil, some cow manure, shrimp and seaweed compost, EWC , lime and guano.
When watering I feed with fish emulsion. molasses, the occasional shot of THRIVE myco booster and sometimes a quick compost tea.

Here she is about a week ago at about 3-4 weeks. Sorry I lost track of the exact date of the 12/12 flip. Im a busy guy.

I painted a couple of her buds with pollen from a Sensi Maple Leaf Indica and a a Dutchgrown SweetestCindy99 male.

And here she is tonight.

She is frosting up nicely and the buds bulk up quickly. I would say she is about 1/2 way finished. I only check the plants every two- three days so when I do, growth and changes stand out markedly.

Thanks for looking!

Checked on them this morning. My room is at about 72 degrees F. when the lights are on with about 48% humidity. I put a small oil filled heater in the room with them on a timer that will allow it to be on during lights off. Winter temps. are setting in and I will have to keep a close eye on indoor conditions. Right now I have an exhaust fan that runs full time during lights on. I think I will also put that on a timer and have it run 15 minutes every hour. That should increase temps a bit to counter act the cooling temps outside.

Thanks for the interest, Budman678.
Im certainly not interested in being a GHS poster boy but I do feel feminized seeds have their place.
I usually use regular beans. In fact I usually grow my own crosses , which certainly are not feminized. I have the capability to grow on a much larger scale if I cared to but I grow for my personal use and have no desire to grow more than I need and get into the weed business.
I would say that femmed beans appeal to me as a time saver and as a small insurance policy that I will have a female or two to grow out after a month or more of veg. time.
The two or three times I started a few plants to have them turn out to be all male was a real drag due to the lost time and effort.
As it turned out, I liked the characteristics of this plant and I had the pollen from the regular beans I started at the same time and decided to knock her up. If the seeds suck when I grow them out next Spring, Ill give the rest to the birds.

At any rate this grow diary isnt here to debate the pros or cons of feminized seeds.

dear Capt. Your bubblelicious plants look very tasty. I believe you will be very happy with the results. My nirvana femmed bubblelicious from 2010 turned out great smoke and looked very similar to yours. I did top/fim mine for more tops. They are on here somewhere in my past posts. Great job, very good beans from nirvana.

Buds growth has slowed in terms of size , but they are getting more dense and heavier. Frost is building up well. Ive been feeding lightly . Odor is increasing and is now getting a little pervasive. I do have to admit, it really does smell sort of like bubble gum, surprisingly enough. Cant wait for her to finish up....

Thanks, GP73LPC. I just noticed bud in the photo I just posted has some dirt specks on it. I need to be a little more careful when moving the plants around for a photo shoot.

Looking really good man  I was wondering what the lineage of this strain is though? Bubblegum x ?
They don't get really explicit in the description, but imply mostly or entirely Bubblegum :
Nirvana said:
Bubblelicious was developed in the Midwest, U.S.A. then brought to Holland in the 90’s and further refined. Bubblelicious grows vigorously and finishes flowering in about 8 weeks. Bubblelicious is highly resinous and extra sweet. Certain individuals actually display that distinct pink chewing gum scent and flavor.

Looks good Cap, making me anxious for my two Bubblelicious seedlings to mature enough to flip! :D
