lol i totally feel you guys on everything else being boring now

so ive resorted to re-watching breaking bad LOL

havent seen any of the episodes since their original airings. its really great seeing all the old stuff and laughing at how much theyve changed. yet walt is still a total badass at the beginning.

agree dexter sucks now! but its not because it pales in comparison to breaking bad ... the writers simply ruined the show!

season 5 was so bad i simply stopped watching. i tried season 6 now and its just so bad ... i think theyre running out of ideas. theres one ep where dexter just walks into a retirement home, checks up on one old geezer and it turns out hes a serial killer from the 70s. YEAH RIGHT!
the show really blows now.

all i got right now is some comedy shows im still following, like how i met your mother and big bang theory. but thats more like fastfood compared to the rich servings of a breaking bad, cant really be compared.

Boardwalk Empire is purdy darn good and entertaining... love that they got the guy that played Omar on The Wire in it... and Steve Buscemi, my favorite actor finally a leading man. Best character tho is the guy with the face wound from the war..

I got the methadone for yall's Breaking Bad jones... I'm repeating myself here, but for good reason, if you haven't seen the movie Fresh, watch it... its a work of art and I believe an influence on the creator of Breaking Bad.

Dexter has been down hill since they started going with a 'format'.

Every season is now a guest star (or three). I wanted to watch a show about a serial killer who kills serial killers, not a show that crowbars in actors to 'showcase their talents'.

Very small spoiler alert... ... the guest star killers always die at the end of the season.

They never should have killed Doaks.

seems like walt turned into skylar a lot when he wasn't at home. always questioning and bitching at pinkman and others... demanding this and that.. then when he was at home he was always getting bitched at by skylar.

someone needs to kill skylar anyways.

anyone else notice that hanks wife/house is obsessed with the color purple? and hanks wife looks like walts son's real mother in real life.

Dexter has lost it's touch with me

i agree man.... dexter was a great show during the first five seasons..... when i watched episode 1 of this most recent season (6) i was outraged by its ridiculousness. It seems to have evolved into that popular show "CSI." When I saw the graphic imaging in the first death scene of the season with the guy having worms or whatever moving underneath his skin in such a ridiculous manner, i knew i was finished with dexter. It was sad because I had been becoming a devout fan, and I had even told people about the show being good, but after seeing those ridiculously goofy, ludicrously animated, "CGI-worms" vigorously moving around inside of the dudes stomach/abdomen, I was alarmed to never recommend the show to another human being if I had planned to ever be respected by them again.....ya know what I mean? When I meet a fan of Breaking Bad, I know that I will get along just fine & dandy with that person- chicks and dudes alike....

oh yeah, another thing that caused me to lose the connection with the Dexter show was the fact that Michael C. Hall did the voice over for the new line of dodge commercials. He did the voice-overs similar to the way he does the voice-overs in Dexter, and after watching the first episode (the only episode i choose to watch, and the only episode i will watch) I could not, for the mudda fuggin life of me, take the show seriously simply because he had "sold out" that aspect/characteristic of the show....

:::puff puff::::

:::does a bit of pondering::::

......all in all though, who the fuck knows? maybe Dexter has always been shitty, and Breaking Bad has just made it more evident?

although I MUST ADMIT, that scene with gus's face blown off was pretty fucking ficticious and graphically altered also and blew it for the show a bit in my eyes.... now if gilligan starts fucking around with that goofy fake shit im gonna cancel cable and just watch these videos the mexican cartels load up on the net in order to get my kicks (just joking, but ill really cancel cable).....

and if ya don't know, now ya know, /VIGG4

I'm amazed at how many people I know are telling me how much they love BB, even several of my straight arrow friends from church! One of them (a staunch conservative) has been downloading previous seasons from Netflix.

I think most of us here agree that BB is one of the greatest shows on tv, 2nd only to The Wire, but I don't recall the wire getting this much play when it was running.

And I think we're pretty much all in agreement that Skyler (and her sister) need to go... maybe we should do an online petition or something lol.

Certianly hope no more terminator bullshit cgi in the future

Yea Dis i love them 2 and ole Chalky is bad ass but the show seems so predictable and like it's been done so many times it's not Fresh...

Speaking of Fresh watched that a while ago when you first commented nice one, thats where he came from lol

Dislexus; Thanks for my new avatar. Suits my god complex.

What if Walt does what every other successful hitter does in real life?...takes over the show. If we contend that Walt poisioned the kid we need to say that he has the balls to plan overcoming Jesse's killer rage and have the knowledge of where the kid lives and the opportunity to administer the poison...hmmm. There were lots of people coming and going at Walt's house like Mike, who could have access to the plant...hmmm

Why not a glorious family business, even employing Hank? Who said breaking bad had to be bad?

BTW; someone said entry to those old folks homes is regulated. I've walked in and out of them plenty without signing anything or being stopped, even the first visit.

I don't get how anybody could see the los pollos trademark and not give credence to the "gus is gay" theory.

That shit is just blatant. Especialmente el pollo a la dereche. ¡Que fabuloso!

That label also says Methylamine, which was in the drums Walt and Jesse stole in season 1(?) and Aluminosilicate, which (if i remember correctly) Jesse mentioned was too wet to use in his own cook so he used titanium something as a substitute.

thankfully this thread is around to remind me that its still 6+ months till the new season.

Dammit.

Dexter and Boardwalk Empire just dont cut it. Hell on wheels looks interesting though,

Common is a decent actor, although kinda typecast.
