Not much to report this morning , i just gave them a first feeding of my seedling juice cuz the coco was dry enough . still chuggin along . #10 still hasn't popped its head yet but i have high hopes

Hey everybody ,

Was a little bored tonight so i figured I'd grab the digi & show ya how bad my photography really is & show ya some more of the flowering cabinet than i did earlier ... have made a few changes to the "cave " as well adding the mom box ... unfinished still

sorry about the HPS glow but lighting in this room sux without it ... all my pics come out to dark unless the hps is on .
But it is what it is ....
heres a new shot of the cave with the mom box added .. i will get the doors & stuff done to it in the next couple weeks .

I can't get back far enough from the flower box to get a good pic of it cuz its only 6 foot from the doors of the box to the other wall , but heres a shot with both doors open so you can see both sides & both lights . can't wait to get my 600's ordered gonna blow this shit up !!!!

6'' fan & scrubber going into the upper compartment then outside , 2 400 watt hps in coltubes with a batwing reflector taped to the top , my CAP temp activated fan speed control , & the plants in their coco pots , 9 in 5 liter hempys hand fed & 4 biesels in 2 gallon coco nursery pots fed by the blumats .

9 little indicas with a final haircut last night ... have about 2 weeks before they get chopped

& 4 biesels in 2 gallon dtw coco pots that are at 2 weeks flowering now , i can't put the net over my plants till they hit the flower room cuz i veg in the wardrobe , but so far the 2 week stretch in flowering has been plenty of time to fill the net the indicas i don't need to net them at all but the rest of my strains do ... can't wait to see DG's girls in action
heres the biesels ...

When these 4 biesels come out in 7 weeks the fems i get from DG's mix will go into that spot . i don't think they'll get much training or be put into a net till i get an idea how each strain grows out for me . they are all numbered 1 -10 so i can keep track & get 2 or 3 clones from each to grow out again & keep a mom from each if decided to .
Well guys , thats about it i guess . sorry again , i wish my pics came out better for ya , maybe ya can throw me some tips .... i see theres some PRO's here

Dunno why but i've shown you guys more of my set up in the last week than i have at all sense i've been on ICmag in the last 15 months ....i just feel comfortable here amongst the knights & queen i like the atmosphere here probably cuz i'm not dealing with a bunch of kids , you guys are all experianced in life like me .
just thought i'd say that .

if i may add,plants only grow as fast as the weakest link in the chain,in this case with the added light it would be a good idea to increase your ventilation as the plants will be able to use all the co2 in that space very quickly,as well they will likely need more frequent waterings and feedings...but i bet you knew that,looks like a well built system,and tinkering is half the fun of growing for me,,

the ballasts i'm getting are lumitek digitals , dimmable to 400 watts .
Yup ventilation has been covered , i upgraded that just recently . wanted to make sure that was covered before i upgraded my lights . with the 400's in there my fan is not even running at half speed even during the summers heat . so the 400 is good for summer months & the 600's i can run during the winter/colder months . i did all this ventilation upgrades during the hottest part of the summer just to make sure that i was set for the 600's during the winter . this is why i added the CAP controller , it makes my life so much easier cuz i can set my lights on & off temps & they stay within the levels i set .
hell , with a little tinkerin i may even be able to run the 600's for most of the year with the exception of july & august ... may just be too hot then ... we'll see i guess . & with the new ballasts ... all it takes is a turn of the dial & i'm down to 400watts .

I'm eventually gonna ditch the cooltubes for good air cooled hoods , I want the biggest footprint i can get though & it looks like magnum xxxl's are gonna be the best for me @ 27" x 34" x 9" high , but at 160$ a piece ... thats gonna wait for awhile unless Santa is good to me

i just wanted you to be prepared for when your DGS plants start taking off,they have a way of taking over your garden quickly...hybrid vigor and all that...having grown all the select mix strains i can tell you no matter what you get will frosty as all get out!

Thanx Unc .... maybe during veg , i can pick your brain as to how long to veg each strain out . prolly only gonna top each once , then let them grow out so i can see their growth patterns (for next time )
prolly no net over them either , so stretch is gonna have to be kept to a minimum during veg, no more than 4' tops max in flowering cuz of hieght restrictions. from what i've been reading , the oger is the only one that stays somewhat short , the other 2 stretch for the stars
so this should be interesting

having grown all the select mix strains i can tell you no matter what you get will frosty as all get out!

they just got their second feeding tonight &i got some pics while doing so . #10 still hasn't popped its head ... looks like it never will , but i'm not givin up on it yet . i'll let it stay there just to see what happens .

I have each one numbered so i can keep track of them , #10's a no show , 4 & 5 seem to be just a bit slower but nothing to worry about . they'll be fine . the rest all seem to be pretty uniform in their growth .

ok thats all i can think of right now ... this SSH makes ya pretty stupid for awhile
on with the pics ....

The last pic ya can see how the 2 are just a bit smaller ... but i'm sure they'll
catch up .
