Hey everybody. I switched over to vert a little over a week ago, and just got some time to get some pics up. Sooooo.....here is a little view of room just before lights on.
Ok, so it is a 1200 watt stadium, and the foot print of the floor is approximately 6' x 46". There are three shelves on each side, at 3',2', and 1'. Not sure if these heights are going to stay, time will tell. You can see that the mogul socket is not a normal one, its like a replacement for a hood, so it is kind of long, and I could probably get the bulbs like 6 inches higher.
So basically, you can see there are a whole bunch of little clones in there, think about like 25 or so, and then four big mamas. I was supposed to give those plants away, didnt happen, so threw them in. I have been running SOG horizontally, so I guess I will see how each do. The big ones are much more sativa leaning on the structure side, so I think she is gonna do real good. Here are a couple shots of the finished product on the big ladies. Dont wanna name them, the breeder is not affiliated with ICMAG. The lineage is great white shark x jamaican lamsbread for anyone interested.
The other is also by the same breeder, cant list lineage cuz they are all there strains. Much more indica in structure, big single cola style. Those are all in 1 gallon bags. After this run I will be able to invest in smart pots, so for now just plastic ones. Inside the bags is resused coco, and they are being fed the REZIPE with some proteky, and roots excelurator. Going to try and add some Liquid K and PBP into the mix, as iI feel the taste is really lacking in the nugs using this nutrient formula. Also, i gotta like cut a strip of reflectix to fold over the pots to help with reflection.
The room has an 8" elicent exhausting it, with agreen mountain filter on it. I think the fan is like 700cfm or something around that. The filter is only rated to like 400 or something, but its all i got right now. I was running a sealed room, so I also have an 8000btu AC helping out in there. I originally was having a lil issue with heat, but I added a 6inch fan onto onto the intake, and it lowered temps DRASTICALLY. So much that I think i might throw a 400 watt CMH or something in there. Here are some shots of the ducting on the outside of the room, and also the AC box exhausting out into the chimney.
Ok, sooo yea thats it for now. Going to take a lot more shots of the room tomorrow. I took all these after not sleeping for two days, but I was in there so I figured I would grab them while I was at the spot. For good measure, I will throw in some shots of my veg tent i just made, with my moms, and my HOL testers, and also the clones going to go in next. Oh yea, forgot to say, this is gonna be a mixed grow always, and perpetual. I need to variety, and for now I am just honing my skills at growing before going any larger. I had went into a bigger op with an old business partner, but things did not Really work out. Anyways, here they are.
I think i am gonna switch the levels around. I think its too cold down there for the little guys. They always seem droopy, and only thing I can think of is cold root zone. Any ideas?
