Outdoor finishing well this year ...

Too many walkers and twitchers round here to do much but can squeeze a few into some devious places , late good weather has allowed this C99 x Blackberry to finish well this year , last seasons were lost mid october to mould and were less advanced from the same start time.

It looks a bit rougth off the plant , will be around six ounces dry from each of the three and a bin bag full of trim , happy days.

Cleans up to reasonable quality , less coloured than indoor with looser and larger buds , wonderfull aroma that unfortunately will not last long when glassed , best smoked fresh and in large amounts , stronger than its looks suggest.

Fresh growth of white pistills at the tip in the final few days under tropical conditions , could have used another week but becomeing too easy to spot.

Anyone else been lucky this year ? last one was a disaster.

Running 12 girlz in a 12'x32' greenhouse. planted in 20 and 35 gal tubs and feed brewed guano compost tea's. Have atlest 3 more weeks to go, all about Hoping for a good finish! Those buds look great!

Nothing wrong with those buds at all.

could have used another week but becomeing too easy to spot.

I may have lost a bit of weight by taking some plants early but I might not have had any had I waited. Fall brings people back out into the woods and fields.

Hi wintergreens , wish i could still use a tunnel but a recently built houseing estate now overlooks my land , these gave two pounds plus each in cornwall in a poly last year in a mates first grow.

Hi claude , used to decide based on the weather alone , but the local countryside seems filled with people now , bird watchers , ramblers, dog walkers and school nature field trips in the day and badger lovers/baiters , bat spotters and police choppers all night.

Thanks Chips , should have put a scale in the pics , multiple topping produced mostly ten inch buds like this one , easy trim for once.

Hi RudeDog , used to let this one run untopped outdoor for some massive colas but she budrots easy and was looseing a lot , PM or Botrytis takes most by end october so am pushing my luck with this seventy day indoor clone.

Have found a dozen cabbage white catterpillers and a couple of scary spiders in the big stuff and a lone dopey wasp that managed to sting mrs.Foomar , more exciteing than the usual spider mites.

These are mite free but the one in the conservatory has been hammered , never seen mite damage on outdoor but often in the greenhouse.

Thanks Doc , this is not a good choice for outdoor but shes so cute i keep trying , overly leafy structure holds moisture and mould moves in.

Harvested in unusual warm temps its more red than blue/black , a gothic stunner after a frost but not this year.

Fast dried sample smokes smooth and sweet , pineapple taste is stronger in outdoor/greenhouse than under sodium but potency is lower , nice short euphoric high makes a change from the heavyweights , flavour still there an hour later .

Smokeable alcopops

Hi roll it , hope the rain held off for you , still dry here but insect damage spreading fast , gardens alive with catterpillers who think it is spring.

My only other outdoor plant was ravaged , an ounce from an expected pound , Head,s G13-Diesel is a long term keeper , finishes too late without bringing indoors , too much wildlife on board to risk it this year.

The Blackberry looks cuter but this is a much stronger smoke

Bit too early , lovely NL type flavour but will lead to a scary headrush and talking complete bollocks when inevitably overindulged.

Going to leave these as long as possible, one of them will need to the middle of November. Had 5oz from one plant this season so far, she's still got an oz of golfballs left.

nice one rudedog :D

I got ripped this year :( fucking farmers harvested the corn feild at the back of my house then jumped my fence and harvested my girls!!! I had a og kush that was going to produce 2k+!!!!!! she was so big I had to take the side and back of the greenhouse down to tie her down, she was half in half out. where she was tied down everywhere when they ripped her about 20% of her was still left. they ripped me a month ago when the girls was nowhere near ready. all I had left was that 20% of the og kush. which has actually done really well and im still going to pull a good few oz of fat stinky og goodness off her. and I managed to get a cutting off her. it took weeks to root and has only just started to put on some new growth but im glad I still have her

Dargo....I was going to ask how you were doing but seems like a stupid question, bet your livid.

Fucking cheeky carrot crunchers.

Set fire to their field next year while they are harvesting it. Bastards.

Hi Donald , getting harder every year as the city expands into what was a rustic village , a real shame as the soil is perfect on a south faceing hillside with a natural springline for irrigation.

Can get away with a few of the Blackberry cross as it drops fans early and usually colours up over whats left , blends in with autumnal native shrubs and invisible beyond ten yards.

What really annoys me is haveing over 100 square metres of assorted glasshouses and a polytunnel you could park two coaches under , and it not being safe enougth to risk flowering a single plant in them any longer.

Heirloom veg are a worthy hobby but would love to exhibit canna for once , people would grow this one just for its looks.
