What is a good bong cleaner?

glad some of you guys mentioned grunge off. best ive found. local shops are all out so im having one the shops split a case with me on their next order. sucks being out and having to use iso and salt for the slides and oil rigs. so easy with g.off. soak and rinse, brand new.

All you guys saying you're using 91% isopropyl alcohol....you sure that's what you're using? I'm almost certain that isn't the stuff you can buy in the supermarket, the iso that I get is only 70% and it works killer, obviously mixed with salt. I think the 91% stuff is for labs and such.

Anyways, ya don't need 91%, the weaker stuff works very good too.

They sell 91 at most pharmacies and even some grocery stores carry it. It's not that uncommon actually. Another store in my area carries 99% iso which is what I use to make hash. If you have a walgreen's near you they carry the 91%

people who buy cleaners at headshops are IDIOTS. Spend .99 on a bottle of ISO at the pharmacy and use whatever you can find around the house like dry rice or lentil beans or salt and it will scrub your bong and make it look brand new.

I couldn't believe how well white lightning grease cleaner , cleaned our glass pipe took it right off soaking it, took forever to get enough resin for the screen to stick again!!!!!

I love Iso and salt the big thing of salt lasts me for ever and my job Buys that 99pc buy the tub. I just fill it up when i need it and take it right on home

I use 91% with salt like said many times. Its much better then 70% IMO.

I also can get 99% but its more pricey, i use that for QWISO washes since there is like no water so it evaporates faster.

Tooth brush and Iso at at least 70%,but like mentioned prior,the 70% works fine for me and you don't have to buy higher grade.

I once used Iso on an acrylic bong,it has to be at least 20 to 30 years ago, and it shattered.Never used it again on plastic.Maybe the material is different now?IDK?

Never smoke out of anything but glass now.

Acetone works better than anything else. It will take any paint or decals off of your bong and remove your emo-black fingernail polish as well, so be careful.

this doesn't sound very effective without the use of a solvent to break down that resin.

Just soak it in hot water with unperfumed dishwash powder detergent for an hour or 2 and put it in the dishwasher...

I'm using acetone too. Much easier to get your hands on than ISO in some countries and does the job real nice. Don't breathe it in thogh...goes for any chemical really.

Grunge Off no doubt is the best, but if your on a budget then 99% ISO and salt will do the trick. With GO there is no shaking though, just leave to soak for a bit and your glass will look like brand new

once u soaked your down stem in grunge, can u re use the liquid, just pouring it back in the bottle?

91% ISO works great....heat the pipe in hot water and fill with ISO and crud just lifts off...let sit over nite ...crystal clean ..

have seen friends fill with ISO and micro it for few and let it sit....spotless.....

91% ISO can be had at any wal mart...also denatured alcohol works great... same place

Grunge off, definitely. The 1st time I used it I couldn't believe how clean it got everything. Re-usable too.

Iso works alright but grunge off will make your bong look exactly like it did when you bought it.

I'm going to have to try the 91% ISO, the 70% works good, but there always seems to be little specs that are stuck on and are a bitch to remove, 91% would probably take care of those mofo's.
