Very nice...Cannalope HAze is just renamed C99, right? I think the C99 X ECSD is a killer cross. Your look great, the S99 I smoked some years ago was excellent herb (though I belive that x to be C99Sour X C99NYCD)

I've been scrambling to make sure she' safe and sound.I just rooted up some cuts and they're moved to coco now but sometimes I stress that I'm going to screw up and lose her.This big one I have, I'm running for entertainment to see what I can do with one 600W cooltube.The buds stopped stretching about 6-18" from the bulb depending on how you look at it.With the cooltube I just go to the roof.It looks a mess but she's actually quite uniform...

I stuck the camera in and pointed to the back a bit, more to see what it looked like than anything.I can see some leaves right under the bulb are clawing a bit so I tied them away from the lamp...I came back into the house, opened up the camera bag and BANG! the thing reeked of diesel.There's only one plant I know of that can do that...

yessir, her stank is both delightful and scary. thank god for this thread chac as this is where i found help with my oder problems that i had never had with other strains.
on another note. i just popped a s1 i got from my ecsd and a few ecsd x special haze/calikush accidental crosses. may see something special outta these, or they may all be discarded, who knows. also have 8-9 ecsd clones and a mom going into flower saturday or sunday and harvest will be chritmas (77days)! boy will it be merry!

My surviving "Sour Diesel"

Hi All,
Here are my surviving "Sour Diesel" clones. I was given 20 cuts in rockwool, and I had to rescue them with a DIY cloner. They are finally putting out fresh nodes after almost 30 days... My plan is to take fresh cuttings from them in 3-4 weeks and pick a couple of new mothers from that batch.
My question is, are there any distinguishing traits that can be seen from the pictures? I have not been able to get any information other than, "they are Sour Diesel". I would love to know I have such an illustrious strain...

still very early to be able to tell for me. although i will say the leafs look a little different then ecsd cut i have. this is the original clone only cut on the east coast, and i've never worked with any of the reworked or crosses other than the biesel that looks identicle to the ecsd but packs on a little more wieght. the one way i can tell you to find out is throw her into flowere and around day 30 or so, the stench will let you know if shes a deez or not.

Sourlope!! Save me some of that! I have one joints worth of chocolope left, I stretched 3oz from late July until yesterday.The Sour and chocolope must be a bell dinger....Apart from seeing close up pics of the plant at 75 days of 12/12, the only true indicator would be the extremely pervasive odor.If you have those veg plants in a room and open the door it will reek of sour and that's without flowers.Scrubbing a sour grow is nearly impossible.I will admit to having 4 scrubbers running and I can smell sour 4ft outside my shop.It truly is a potential disaster due to the smell.Outdoor diesels can stink up to 200ft away....correct me if I'm wrong.25 days to go for my 6 footer!Stoked...

I wonder if you could get a better idea from looking at the cuts before they got traumatized in the rockwool...

I've been using the micro with my ecsd's until about day 60 to prevent any early yellowing and leaf drop.So far so good.The big ass plant I have is at day 59 and I gave her the last dose of 6/9 koolbloom today.She's in a 20gal barrel so I won't have to water for another 2-3 days, then I'll switch to 9/koolbloom with cal-mag.This seems to give me the best results.Does anybody else keep up the micro this long or do you cut it out earlier?

heya CHACO ! glad to see you doin yer thing ... i do also leave the micro in cuz sd is a heavy N feeder ..... so i use it up to the final 10 or so days with great results ..... i mean at least no one round here complains except of how good it smells .... and yes only one plant i know of invades yer camera bag and etc. LOL many blessings , hidingtree

I took the leap today and checked out my big sour plant.I've let it do it's own thing for awhile, the tops are out of view because the closet door is only 6ft and the roof is 8.I was very happy to find very clean buds and shiny green leaves and the smell was quite sour.I hit it with 9/koolbloom today, if things turn out like I hope this is going to be a great sour run.One 600W lamp in that tight space with super white walls combined with the profile of the plant and the cooltube, it's been a great experiment.The branchy profile of the sour does much better for me than the Hashplant I ran before...I ramblin' because I'm kinda bored, my plants are hanging whole so no cutting, my veg room is set, my flowering hazes have stopped drinking....I better come up with something fast...5 days and I'll be cutting hard on these hybrids I've been working.

Indeed, this plant is a danger.day 72, I opened the door this morning to start flushing and the stench just drooled out like a liquid, something only a few plants can do...I have a situation where a utility guy has to come within 8ft of this closet, outside the building, so I did a smell check this morning and for some reason the whole area stunk real badly, enough to tickle your nostrils and I know if I can smell it, I'm screwed.I finally figured out that the cooltube blower that sucks air from the garden and into a scrubber was turned off and the closet was heating up and backing the stench out the door...No matter what you do, whether you own or rent, situations beyond your control attack...having a visitor come 8ft from this 7ft beast is going to make me swallow a bottle valium....Maybe my best ECSD ever too...

This 50/50 mix of rock and coco worked very well in this 20 gal container.I didn't grow the biggest buds but I grew a million smaller ones and the whole thing is collapsing on itself...After all this time I'm still baffled by the smell of this damn thing.I can't smell anything outside the building right now, if the wind stays off the ocean, my woodsmoke will be on it, if it doesn't, I'll build a pine fire on the other side and some other shit.2 winters ago I had a cable guy stick his head under the building right in my exhaust, 60 days into a sour run.TROUBLE follows the ECSD, believe it!!!

Fuckin' right!! Damn though, I've owned this place forever and you still can't have total freedom.That bugs me, the insurance guy, the gas guy, the electric guy, the cable guy, the cops, the killer next door.Just wonderfull but yeah, I've been through this my whole life, my best strategy is diversion with my big dog sniffing him(friendly) and me talking about my financial troubles and how nothing ever goes right for me, blah, blah, blah, usually sends them packing...or I could start a jehovah routine.Usually though these guys are in and out asap and we/I blow it out of proportion but not being 100% carefull is an outrageous stupidity!!
