Looking good my man, I knew you'd rock this shit. Cant wait to see what you pull, I think its gonna be huge!

If your worried about em gettin to big on ya, i found in my DrBud box that crushing stems in the first couple weeks of flower controlled em well and didnt slow em down as much as folding them over. Just my two cents.

Had a brainstorm about this system while surfing over at GH's website. Came across Coco mats. Wondered if a few layers of mat in the channels you've made would give em more media to root into and getcha some bigger yields per girl on your next run. Maybe hold it off the bottom with some kind of grid or screen 1/2"(?) to facilitate water flow, just plug the clones into it. All this would depend on getting the hydro system sealed up and functioning of course. I've smoked alot of blunts today, lemme know if this just sounds retarded... :snap out of it:

Wow, what a efficient use of lighting, space and growth! Im really digging this Anti!

Im a big fan of using everything i already have so i wouldn't have gone this route if i didn't need to buy ballasts, but, Do they make the CMHs in 250W? You might get better lighting coverage and overall intensity if you use 3-250w CMHs at three equidistant points down the line. I used a 250w HPS and really enjoyed the yields. Got almost 3 ounces off of an Alien kush under half a 250W, they're a force to be reckoned with!

Other than that, i'm really digging this!

*** UPDATE WITH PICS!!! (Fourteen Days From Flip) ***

It's that time kids. Time for the weekly update.

These pictures were taken on day fourteen of 12/12.

(I added 24" bamboo stakes to each pot to add stability and uniformity. It seems to have worked.)

Was going to ask if you plan on cleaning u the bottoms of those girls but then remembered where I was, doh! Vert forums, I guess you got no need to trim that stuff up as it should end up as nice nugglets aye.

Loving this 1 Anti!!

looks great!how are the temps?

Temps have been staying between 78-81 during lights on and in the low 70's at night.

The purpling of the stems that I was seeing initially has mostly gone away now, too.

hot diggity dog you posted my new desktop background again...it's looking awesome man.

how's the moisture in the trays? do they stay moist between waterings...or is there enough airflow to dry em out in between? They're sitting flat on the drain trays right? <--- I mean the trays, not the coco.

It's all a learning process. When I first flooded the table via pump, there was about 1/4 inch of liquid sitting at the bottom in some places that didn't make it back to the res. When I was experimenting with hand watering (leaving things in the Colosseum and watering by hand, attempting for no-run off) there was a lot of run off.

(And yes, the treepots are sitting directly in the trays. However, the treepots have a ~1.25" hole in the bottom - i'll try to remember to take a picture to show you - that prevents it from retaining any liquid.)

Now that I am submersion watering, I can dunk them 20-25 at a time in a milk crate into an 18 gallon container, then allow them to drip dry over an empty 18 gallon container, then put them back in the colosseum. I do this every other day. Took an extra hour or so to add all the stakes and plant ties, but I can generally water all 70 plants in under 40 minutes. Even after 30+ hours between waterings, the plants show no sign of wilting and the coco seems ever-so-slightly moist.

I could probably get it all done in 20 minutes, but I try to move slowly and treat watering like a moving meditation. I listen to music or watch a documentary (which you can usually pay attention to without having to actually SEE most of it) and take my time inspecting each plant, culling dead leaves, etc. as I remove them. My rule when replacing plants in the colosseum is simply to place the largest plants in the corners and filling the plants in around them so that the smallest plants end up in the center of the length of rows (between the two bulbs). So no plant is in any one position in the cabinet for more than a day or so. The tallest plants are all on the bottom tier because this meant that they'd avoid hitting the ceiling.

I am curious to see how the bottom buds develop on the lower tier plants this time. I plan to add a yo-yo light mover (like Marlo's) so that the lights travel up and down about a foot or so while lights are on. I'll probably also add a little chicken wire column around both bulbs to ensure that foliage doesn't get sacrificed. I've had to give a couple of haircuts to ladies whose fans stretched into the bulbs. Nothing drastic so far.

As they get a little further along I may have to start watering daily. I will just go by what the plants tell me.

Suggestions, ideas, criticisms, etc. are always welcome.

why are you doing the dunking?couldnt get the leak fixxed?either way looking good!

I haven't gotten around to fixing the leak. I'd have to take everything off the table and then attempt to prop everything up on a makeshift table while I clean the table and then reseal it. It would take a few days and might require a helping hand since the table is so heavy and I've already got some back problems.

I do have hole saws, so I am kicking around the idea of re-drilling the holes as some here have suggested so that I get really nice seals. It remains to be seen what will actually happen, but dunking is easy and time-tested.

why not use a sink drain and trap adapter to fix leak?

Seal around drain with plumber's putty.

I might not be visualizing correctly so I may be off?
