Yoda OG?

Is this a real strain? Or did the guy who sold it to me just make it up? Normally I wouldn't be making a thread like this but I found a seed in what he gave me and am just trying to gather info to see if its worth poppin. The bud looked great, hard dense kushy nugs with a mellow pine scent that gave me a good euphoric blast followed by a couch-lock that would put me out if smoking late nights.

Anyone know where this originates from if real? And what it's makeup is?

I google searched, got vague info and a few pics.... This is almost exactly what the Yoda looked like:

herd of it, mostly in san diego. to me just looks like a good og.yoda is some made up stuff.im sure hes playin off the good old skywalker og.

definitely got that og look, people make up so many names for various strains of og and hybrids though nowadays, if it's good smoke then call it whatever you want, i have heard of a yoda og before but honestly thought it was just another made up og name for marketing purposes

Thanks for the replies fellas. Doesn't make a difference to me as it does the trick. I just like to know where strains come from and whatnot Perhaps I'll pop it during my next run and see what becomes of it.

its actually a real one, its been going around a lot lately, i also found a seed. i find it a little more staiva dominant and the one ive been smoking has a strong clear head high but doesnt last that long like most ogs but still a very nice high. my homie loves it and is always getting it.

I forgot where I read it, but last week I saw someone mention Yoda OG elsewhere and said it was made up of (Tahoe x Diablo OG), not sure how valid that is but it made me want to pop the one bean I had...

1/1 seed was soaked in tap water and a few drops of Neptunes Fish&Seaweed for 12hrs then popped her in a cup of FF-Light Warrior.

Hope I get some greasy ass dank!

Yoda is a Star Wars OG and its just a name attached to weed to sell it better and set it apart from the rest of the 5 billion different OGs out there...

Yeah that's what I figured, Calcio. I found the only seed in the entire crop my dealer told me.

Haha yepp. I'm on the east coast and not even in a medical state and all I hear is OG this, Headband that. I haven't smoked/bought a legitimate haze in about 4 years and I'm not even joking.. Makes me sad

This is the same plant with like 3 feet of space, including the pot...topped and scrogged...

Here's some images I snapped earlier today when I was bored cleaning out my grow area. I've been vegging her for about 48 days now, it started out slow until I transplanted into FFOF and bigger pots. She now sits in a 3gal pot and was fimmed in the same spot twice (a week span in between fim attempts... i thought i didn't do it right the first time lol). I'll be putting her and another plant under a SCROG and to see how I do on my first scrogger try within a week or so.

Lighting in the pics make it look much yellower than the plant actually is. She stinks of some classy dank with a spot of sweetness.
