Bro I'm about to be in the same boat you are forreal. I'm down to about my last 1/2 oz from my summer grow and I have 8 girls in flower but they are only in about week 2 so when those buds are gone I'm gonna be dry for about a month or so. I have a couple bags of trim in my freezer that I'm going to make some hash out of but that will only last for so long. I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for running out but it's hard when you know its coming and there's nothing you can do about it. At least you are almost there, 3-4 more weeks and you'll be swimming in buds so just try to think about that and stay strong! I said I was not going to buy any bud too when I'm out but we'll see how well that goes lol. Good luck and I hope you end up with a heavy harvest!

Ok ya'll this is how that happened . . .
and that was pretty much it right there. oven on @ 300, once heated turned oven off then put bud in, residual heat from oven dried bud, crushed bud, smoked bud! DONE.
nice light buzz, would have missed it if i wasnt paying attention, gave me the giggles real quick, slightly heady.
all in all it was well worth it! probably shouldnt again and i wont (not from that plant anyway, lmao)
ofcourse we all know its way too early its got 2wks left besides the extra "just one more week" . . . week.
but i actually put the bud in the oven while it was heating up, once i heard the "ready" beep, i just turned it off and checked back eery 5min to see if the stem was dry and snapped.

Try 100 degrees for a longer period of time. Might preserve the taste a lil better. You can also steam-dry with a tupperware in the microwave. Dry paper towel on bottom of container > weed > moist paper towel on top > lid on tupperware. If you have a defrost cycle you can run it a couple minutes. Repeat if necessary. If you don't have a defrost cycle the increments are more like 30 to 45 seconds, depending on microwave strength. Steam keeps the bud from overheating and drying out too quick. You may have to crack the lid to keep it from blowing off, lol.

yes yes some microwaves have a power setting button, i have a 1000w microwave so i power it down to like level 2 or 3, 10 cooks the buds
yeah i know about that, buti wanted to try it the other way to see the taste, and how or what the differences may be.
next nug i taste will be prepared the microwave way though
Makes all the difference to wait until trich colors are of preference. Another bummer is smoking moist/wet weed or harsh drying methods. I just buy local weed if mine ain't ready. Hate to buy swag though.

from wht ive understood about it, they pretty much buy whatever seeds they can and just guerrilla grow them where ever they can, nad you already know what that means, shit is gettin cros pollinated left and right.
it seems that when you grow bagseed you put yourself in the ranks of breeding. once you have some plants that you can identify as fem then you can take cuts, keep them to the side (mark them ofcourse) and actually keep a mom or two after theyve flowered out.
ive got atleaast 3 or 4 i wanna reveg for sure. ive got one in my cloner that is getting ridiculously big while the others are growing and ata nominal rate. my problem is i didnt mark them, i figured id just take cuts of the females and grow them a ll later, as long as i knew what was female.
some of these things are actually worth keeping! the growth speed, response to supercropping, teh way the budsites are forming, ooh man the smells !!!!
the one that i took a cut from smells like oranges i swear! orange peels more so, but fresh, so i have to keep that no question.
most times i dont scoff at bagseed i just scoff at the assholes that grow it and the way they do it, but then again its these mexican cartels so what can you do?
so when i spend that 20 fora bag of schwagg i just think of it as buying some seeds and leave it at that
