i managed to get all my tops in right before the rains today...its coming down in sheets right now in chico, CA........i still have a bunch of larf lower nugs still out there gonna let it run, every nug over a gram has been picked.

im really curious to see if the larfy nugs can survive the storm...i already pulled down enough tops to cover my expenses and have a little extra for next years setup..

Betcha they'll do fine. After the sun comes out end of the week, you probably won't even be able to tell.

i used my pop up canopy that I usualy use for tailgating at Raider games. used it 2 cover 2-1/2 plants( sour d , casey jones) but have some others ( Critical Haze @10'+) that i need 2 cover today. might use previous post method with 2x2 and pvc . very light rain this morn but big one coming tomorrow. pulled everything else good luck to all.

In the 530, really upset its starting to rain. A few close friends were hoping it would be the usual weather, planting some really nice sativa dominant strains. Getting our first rain a little before or after Halloween.. is the norm here.

Really depends on the strains your growing an how mold resistant they our and if there a tough strain... sounds like the best bet for you is to shake them off. If it starts coming down you might have to get creative.. best of luck to you my friend. Positive Vibes your way brother.

I'm in the northern end of the 209 and it's normal for October to be an iffy month in terms of weather. That's why I always plan on taking down by mid-October. After today it's supposed to be clearing up, gives me a chance to get more carb-loading done.

Thank the Grow Gods that things didn't turn out too bad here. Even the large Blue Dream rolled with the punches, just got a little pulling of some tops where the netting shifted a little, no breaks at all. And it RAINED! We did have a little hail too on Wednesday, but nothing like what they got down around Chico. I hit the plants with a skim milk / lactic acid culture spray yesterday to help contain the mildew. We'll see what happens. We're supposed to have some pretty decent weather for at least the next week, hopefully it'll turn out to be a good decision to let them go a bit longer, they can really use it if the sun energy's there.
