IMO, sabotage is wrong. IMO, cyber battling NYSE is the height of stupidity. Wouldn't be surprised if it amounts to a Rick roll. But with the crazy, global economy, I wouldn't be surprised if it affects the market.
After all, rich speculators park oil tankers in the Gulf of Mexico and stall delivery for increased profit. Whenever an oil-producing nation experiences unrest, there's no inventory to absorb the shock and our price at the pump increases, no matter how insignificant the oil-producing supplier. Speculators say, 'Oh, here's some more oil' (sitting in the gulf.)
I'd assume a large percentage of the top is legit. But any market condition that can be exploited will be exploited. And with few exceptions; Enron, MCI and Bernie Madoff, many white-collar criminals receive fines less than their illegal profits. The FL guv is just one example (and he ripped off taxpayers.)
All this transfer of wealth and power didn't happen overnight and all that money has our government itself complicit. IMO peaceful protesting will spill over to government whenever the protesters are ready.

You know exactly what I mean. Adjusted for inflation, that single mom makes less than she did 30 years ago. In that same 30 years, her executive went from 20x her wage to +400x. Her executive has more income, more company capital and more productivity (ie that single mom is producing more) than ever before.
There's ample evidence the top has risen exponentially, even at the expense of individual and global disaster. There's even strong evidence of causation.
If you want an answer to your question, write your representative. Otherwise, make a point already. We're not economists but that doesn't mean there isn't a line to draw. You're just whimming on the idea that somebody here has to know that line to legitimize the protests.
Considering the fact you only legitimize what you yourself legitimize, where's the logic for all your inquisitiveness?
Let's just put this one to rest... all executives should make $1 a year. Now what's your point?
