About building a grow tent... how does one secure poly to the PVC pipes?

I've been really looking into building my own personalized grow tent and such for my closet, something for a few small indicas under CFLs..... though studying all these growtent guides I can not figure out how I would go about securing strips of poly cut to the size of the frame to the pvc pipes and other poly panels in a way that prevents light and odors from leaking.

I understand for the velcro I would just glue that to the poly to effectly create a velcro seal for entering and exiting it... but what how do I secure the sides and the top?

I have been unable to find a guide that actually tells HOW to put each individual raw part together into the secure tent.. All the guides I found just explained how to put the frame together or just the materials needed. Any links would be extremely appreciated.

I built a tent like this a few years ago that fit perfectly under my desk. Made the frame first, making it basically two areas split in half...used duct tape to secure poly to the pvc. Then I spray painted the insides of the poly white. It actually worked pretty well. Definitely not stealth though. Duct tape dude.

Ductape I can do... but what are the chances of this coming off with the heat build up. The last 10 times I've used ducktape in any indoor grow situation, it always peels off due to the heat... Even with ventilation. Is ductape like super sticky against poly?

I made my own tent out of PVC conduit and when it came to the poly, what I did was cut two big pieces that slip over the frame snugly and velcro together.

The first is the floor piece: It has a bottom, and the sides come up from the floor about 6 inches or so. This piece has velcro on the outside.

The second is the top piece or slip cover. It is much larger and consists of a ceiling made of poly which has holes cut for venting, wires, and the light chains. The front of this piece also has the zippered door cut into it. Along the inside of the bottom, there is more velcro to secure the top section to the bottom section.

It's not perfect but it works. The floor piece is secured to the PVC using zip ties and tiny little plastic stickies that are made for securing zip ties. You can see them in the last picture towards the bottom. The top piece just slips over and is a tight fit so it's just secured by gravity and the velcro near the seam.
