Bud on the East Coast that sells for 2500 in ur neck of the woods still goes for 5500, 6000 in NY. Be creative.

Natgonnaworrie has it right!

Aye c'mon I average 3.5 - 4.5 per pack, use your head. If you can't then don't complain about the prices and Colorado is FLOODED with cheap weed, man that's the LAST fucking place my fire would land. Hell her in Cali I STILL get 3.2 - 3.5 a unit depending if I sell it North or down in L.A. or S.D.:dance013:

Price for really good dank wont drop that bad even when it goes legal. have you ever tried to mass produce the dankest of the indoor dank? environment control alone is a fortune. not to mention having to add a lot of security. Then even if you have all that you have to have really good growers. They won't work for cheap.

The market will basically just do as the alcohol market did after prohibition ended. It will get regulated and taxed upping production cost. Insurance will be required for employees starting 2014 driving cost up.

Then the market will divide it's self up by quality, and rarity. people will be able to control price by patenting specific cuts they make, and drive up demand by limiting quality if the strain is highly sought after. However if they get cocky and charge too much people just won't buy it and they will go under if they don't produce more and lower price.

I predict it will balance out nation wide at about 2500 a AAA quality pound, when legalized because saturated markets like California are getting more than that right now for their AAA dankness.

Lots of people try to grow the dank but they can't. Lots of people fail in the green rush because they have big dreams and buy a huge set up for growing the AAA sticky, and end up with mediocre mids. they don't get it right quick enough and after that they simply can't afford to keep going. Then back to Kansas for them, cause cali is fucking expensive.

yeah... i already had that idea... my habit alone (resurrected on the hypothetical) would require a greenhouse, maybe a terraced cliff-side... lmao... ;-)
Considering how it's going, even in California, that cliff-side is a pretty good idea.

(Just watched The Missing, that scene up in the rocks and cliffs was hella insane!).

most of the guys who were getting lowballed at 23 last season for good indoor have stepped up their game, found new buyers, moving most out of state....

right now in the bay area prices are pretty damn high, even though everybody is growing, more people are brokering. so there is usually a run on anything sellable....because most people here are catching onto how to flip a 25 into a 32 these days....

the only people getting lowballed 25 and under for their stuff are local people with limited connections....i can get 3-32 religiously for OG kush here in SF....and theres a few highballers who are glad to pay 36 because its going to a not so saturated market...

The best thing a basement grower could hope for is national full decriminalization. That way there's no jail time and big business stays out of it.

If you honestly feel you are a good networker/ have a good network, and you're not getting top dollar for your meds, then to be honest, maybe it's just your aaa+ isn't really aaa+. Ppl round my ways complain about noone wanting to pay more than 2.7 a pack for sour and OG. I do my best to explain to them this in a very nice way and even offer some help as there is always a market for aaa+.

But when you really have some top shelf stuff, you'll know it based on upon the offers you recieve. Just keep dialing in until you get there.

I must mention though. Imported here never goes for less than 3.2-3.8. The thing is, even though it's outdoor mostly, it's higher quality than a lot of the indoor that's produced here. I know an old schooler who just is monster at growing and he still gets 3.8+ from hybrids. his genetics, and talent however is up to par. Nd he can never keep up with his demand. I mean <1day seriously and it's gone. I wish myself to be one day as good as a grower.

who fucking cares

if there is so much pot your basement grow doesn't make sense that means its ok to leave the basement and blow out a real grow above ground

if you survived when it wasn't cool why woudln't you survive when it was?

When it becomes legal.... I think some may make it by growing for big company's. Some will open up coffee shops.

I don't think many will buy marijuana via the stores... prolly comes pre rolled with stems and seeds!

i always use the micro brew analogy..... if weed is legal and goes corporate the will be micro grow spots that specialize in good weed not mass produced shit....

if it becomes legal i have access to about 15 acres cleared land and a tobaco planter. with all irrigation and a water source. i could clear more land as needed.

I've spent my fair share of time sitting on a setter. How cool would that be to be able to plant that way?

I don't care how low or high prices go. The reason I started growing was that I was sick of paying high prices for sub par weed, or VERY high prices for very good weed.

Fuck that.

I grow for head stash. I give away the stuff I don't like or don't need.

Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with people growing for profit. There will always be folks who can't grow their own. They need a source of quality herb, and nothing is worth any more than someone is willing to pay.

And that's the ultimate deciding factor. Nothing is worth more than someone is willing to pay for it.

i started out indoor farming and most of my friends are indoor farmers....but i predicted the indoor crash a while back thats why i have focused most of my money into outdoor projects......instead of upgrading my indoor grow from 4kw to 8kw..or sinking 25k into an indoor warehouse...i went north and now have interests in gardens from mendo to butte county....i like outdoor pot because its cheaper and some of it is honestly better than the commercial beaster crap that many indoor growers in they bay area produce....also my family owns a vineyard, of which 5 acres is low producing old stalk that they want to rip up in a few years....im dying for federal legalization so i can put some huge greenhouses there...

look at the Amsterdam model and the cali wine market. capitolism in a legal market will grow every possible business dealing with and around cannabis. Everyone will find there niche if they belong.
