I d like to make a seed Germination statistic table.
Feed the table...i will be very glad if you post here some stats of your experience with seeds.
Try to give all the stat parameters , and i will update the table...
-Seed age counts from the date purchased from breeder.

Back when Serious sold packs of 15, I bought 4 packs, 2 Chronic and 2 AK-47.
All 60 germed and grew.
They were really like clones, in seed form. Each plant was very uniform, and grew at the same rate.
I've NEVER ordered seeds from anyone else who had germ rates, or growth patterns, like that.

Just had 4 Northern Lights seeds, all 4 germed and are healthy seedlings now. Started out small, but I hope I could help contribute some statistics.

p.s. seeds age is the age counted from the day seeds are purchased from the breeder.

Sensi Seeds.

All seeds cracked within 24 hours and sprouted within 36 hours. Saving the other 6 for my next grow if needed.

this is what i do:

1. i put one drop of plagron seed booster in a cup of water
2. i feel the litle plastic seed bags with that water and leave the seeds to soak for as many hours are needed for them to sink.
3. i put a drop of superthrive in a glass of water and soak some rockwool cubes
4. i put the seed just a seeds length deep in the cube. this must be done very carefully so the litle root isnt damaged or squised. the root must go downwards.
5. i squeeze the rockwool to get the water out and leave the cube just damp. i spray the cube as often as needed not to let it get dry.
6. i use soft light and a worm place like 25 degrees C (77 F) with good ventilation and medium moisture in the air like 55%

some notes
-to much water is bad , the seed rots and roots rot.
-dont use soil epsecialy from outside because it is full of bugs and worms that may damage the roots in this fase. If you must , put it in the oven or the microwave till you kill everything. Allso used soil may have to many nuts in it for germination stage or might have very low or very high ph. Litle stones are very bad because the young root cant pass them easely.
-some times the seed cap wont come off by its self . dont pull it. spray the cap until it gets so soft it will come off by just touching it.
-dont dig around with your finger , to see whats happening and let the root see light. also moving the root around stresses the plant and damages it.
-if you want to use a paper towel to make the seeds sprout first , make sure you dont damage the root when you pick up the seed and you dont leave air around it when you transplant it.
-dont overnut the seed , it has what it needs to start by its own.
-once the seed has sprouted dont water directly on it , dont get the medium to wet and dont let it dry. Small cubes and pots can get dry in a few hours depending on the conditions.

Has anyone had problems getting the freebie seeds to germ?

I just germed 10 sams mix and got 7 for ten.

Woot finally got one out of 4 sam's og Haze x og Skunk 1 to ge ans sprout. This thing is phucking cool. The first sets are like little pencils. Can't wait might have to make a scrog cab for it.

We have lift off 10 for 10 100% germ rate.... thanks for the great seeds ....no fancy germination techniques just put em straight in the dirt... and just let nature do,the work ....i find this is the best way to germ seeds espically ones I paid for ...

at last from each strain a very nice female and I´m absolut happy with them.
100% germ quote and healthy little stinkers, very nice strains...

Or is it a schlong fest? We won't have to wait long, I hope to sex cuts prior to flowering and I think you'll dig my setup. Might gets a laugh as well.

Oh yeah, #10 is shy but not out. I can see her shepherd's crook peaking through the peat. Also see a unique mutation, a pair of true leaves atop three cotyledons. A little small for the cam atm but it's first on right. First left looks like the same thing. Never met a mutation I didn't like... unless it was male of course.

Looks like pic updates will be every Monday. I'll also post a few special showings here and there.



The cups will be upsized as soon as necessary. These 3 oz shooters just help keep 10 young seedlings directly under the bathroom fixture (lol) for less initial stretch. Need all the hep I can get.

05 SEPT: Seeds put to sink in water (after 2 days of fridge), and put between paper towels. 100% Germination, as usual. I put the germs in little rockwoolcubes (stayed in 5.5 ph water for 24 hours)

Purchased,4/2011,Bog Sour bubble,8 seeds,8 germed and 8 above soil, .Mandala,Sadhu 10 seeds,9 germed 2 just cracked and stalled,seven above ground,then one dies.So 6 growing.Sams mix,10 seeds 7 germed and 7 above ground.All one week old.

I was graced with the good fortune of being selected as one of the Taste Testers for SOTF's Sweet Tooth #4 seeds, and will be documenting my grow in this thread.

I germinated my seeds directly in soil, a custom "just add water" mix, on June 4th. I got 100% germination, and they broke soil within three days.

At this moment in time launching a new selection of seeds and some not germinate and thus create a space on this fancy ....
Hybrids from Cannacopia approached me after several pages and are mainly hybrids of genetics, which are gathered together here .....
Yesterday I gave ten seeds germinate and tomorrow morning as I look at it and send some photos .....
Have a nice follow-up and then hope that everything will go as the .....
