What do you think about this micro cabinet?

Well to be perfectly honest: I really don't think that exhaust fan is gonna be very "stealth".

I use those same fans and they certainly aren't quiet or stealthy enough to use in a hide-away grow op, and if the in/out air flow aren't tuned pretty good then one end or the other will howl or whistle.

You can do it tho. But you will need to gather a few tools together. A 6" and a 2" hole saw should be close to the top of the list.

Also, if that fan isn't mounted with rubber spacers between it and the wall it's mounted to; it will vibrate and make quite a bit of noise.

Haha, I mean nugs. Man my ideas are getting beat up that's great. We are on the same page so im listening to all your advice. That's why I posted the thread. So new plan. Exhaust out the front. Hmm maybe ill just put up my 2x4 tent at this point. Was trying to be more stealth and avoid taking up room with my tent

Just kidding about the 'bugs'.. Don't feel that your ideas are beaten up, some of us already banged our heads against the wall w/ our setups. Doesn't mean it's the only way, it's the easy way that works well. I understand you not wanting to cut your cab.

The tent sounds like a good idea. I thought about suggesting one. There's lots of vinyl wardrobes these days. Not many that sound like a hair dryer running inside. A 2 x 4 looks closer to a wardrobe than a 3 x 3. The fan would blow the stealth of the cab in similar ways.

How tall is the tent? You may have to get a 4', 4-tube T5 or you could run a 400 to 600 watt HPS (if the tent's tall enough.) You might need AC if you go with the 600.

A speed controller may keep folks from hearing the fan if they're not in the same room. Something running like a room fan, aquarium or computer might distract attention from the tent and is worth considering.

Put up your tent use a 400hps with that fan and use that cab for a nice ass veg camber. But even as a veg chamber you'll need ventilation. If you plan on using that cab you have to cut it. Plan and simple. Look around at these micro grows. Any of the sucessful growers understand the ventilation, Light requirements, and air exchange requirement. You have some of the best micro/personal growers in your thread giving you advice. You have the oppurtunity to learn from some of the best growers on this forum. Listen and learn what they are trying to tell you.

For sake of not cutting the hell out of the cab, and stealth not being of up most importance I think I will just bust my tent out again even though it takes up a lot of walking space. I have a 400 mh/600 hps and will just supplement with the t5's i have unless I do want to start vegging. I usually only grow in the winter because there is no AC here and the light works well to heat the room during the cold season. I can regulate it with the window.

Do you helpful people know if it is possible to take a 750 watt hps 240v and convert it to 120v? is there a cable/box for that?

Yep use you tent and the cab as a veg cab. You don't need a lot of exhaust to keep a couple fluor. Cool. Plus you don't need to light proof it. You can use your hanging plastic to keep light from escaping.
