I don't like the negative connotations associated with the term 'dope.' In this new era of our favorite plant, I think it is vital to mind the methods in which we communicate as we attempt to further educate the masses and eradicate the negative stigmas. I just don't think the term dope, serves to further the cause at all. I personally prefer the term cannabis, bud(s), herb(s) or med(s) but to each their own.

I started smoking in 1975. Back then pot and weed were pretty common, refer not much and NEVER heard anyone say cannabis but...a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet. I kind of laugh at the whole 'meds/medicine' moniker though considering my roots.
