Im sitting with a half full room but a tapped bank account and harvey is still weeks away, damn him.

plus im getting cold feet about upgrading the power and "fully" lighting the room, not just 50% haha im a pussy I know...oh well leave me to my closets for now.

I'm literally in the middle of an upgrade at the moment.

60cmx60cmx120cm veg tent [Check]
T5 veg light [check]
6 spot DIY DWC for C99 moms [check]

Bits left to arrive/build;
5x 20L DWC buckets/pumps etc.
PH/EC tester

Then I will be starting a perpetual DWC in my 400w flowering tent. 1 clone in every 2 weeks whilst one veges in the veg tent. I have 6 beautiful C99 to be taking clones from, so what I'm thinking is to run a different cut each bucket, so in theory I will have had a harvest of all 6 cuts every 3 months

I'm actually almost finished with my 'next' upgrade and i've changed pretty much everything.

First, I was growing in organic soil and now i'm using straight coco and it is SO much easier to work with.

Second, I was growing in DIY smart-pots and now i'm using hempy-buckets which are not only way easier to work with, they also solve an occasionally recurring problem of 'wet feet', my cab isn't level so the ones in back too often were left sitting in the run-off. (the growth rate is very similar to my DWC days as well, just WAY simpler to manage, and no pumps to fail or reservoirs to chill)

Third, i've moved my flowering from my micro-cab (i plan on using the cab for breeding and seed runs) to a new DR120, Secret Jardin, 4x4 grow tent.

And fourth i've left my cab intact leaving the 400CMH mounted in a SuperSun air-cooled hood and bought a new 600HPS for the tent.

I've also mounted that light bare-bulb vertical so, as I said, i've pretty much changed everything.

Oh yeah, one more thing (in my best Peter Falk voice), i'm now feeding my babies nothing but MaxiBloom and KoolBloom with Silica Blast and ph up to balance my nutes to about 6, or in the vernacular, 'piss yellow', lol. ...and thanks Tonatiuh for your contributions in the K.I.S.S. thread, your grows are always inspirational.

I want to upgrade, but I can't safely use anymore electricity. I am going to be testing the 12-1 light schedule, along with the staggered lighting schedule for flower. Should save 25% power. Then I can upgrade by 25%. If I were in a med State it would be on. I unfortunately do not have that luxury. It doesn't matter how hard I try, I can't stop adding a little bit here or there. I am to the point where I feel that my electric bills are as high as safely possible. I wouldn't mind adding a 4 or 5 more K though.

Would you mind sharing where you're at power wise, bill wise? Maybe round it a bit if you feel uncomfortable.

I've just turned on every light myself, which adds up to 2800w flower and I've got about 600w veg. My bill should be around 300-350. I get a little worried, but not tooo worried.

Modest upgrade, I'm putting in another 384 watts of sidelights half UVB, half 5000k residential.

RDWC setup and a 1/4 HP Chiller. One bucket res maint is certainly appealing. I'm researching a lot right now on how to mod a waterfarm into an RDWC setup. I have found a few 8 site WFs on CL for under $250.

@ gupee, you running close to 3kW and barely touching $350? You must not be using an AC?

600 watt lumatek ballast (moved the 400w magnetic ballast to 2x4 tent)
2 hortilux hps
1 600w badass mh
1 400w digilux mh
2 Phresh filters
2 phat mufflers
4" wind tunnel
4" tds (I think) inline fan ( for small veg cab)
6" can fan max
2 RDWC DIY systems

I think that about covers it all. Of course there were all the necessary small things too. Like hangers for the hoods, etc.
