as you can see she's making quite a comeback, from that sad
Lil~stick that was on deaths door step, soon I'll get her back
in some dirt, and in a few weeks we'll pull some clones for the
next run, look'n forward too smoke'n some of her finest buds again.

Hey Silver Hawiian how ya been buddy, good I assume ?
I have 2 types of "tray" trays, both made by botanicare.
the one in my flower room is 2'x4', I have a 4'x4' but the
plants get too close to the walls and the lower buds really
suffer, This winter I plan on widening my room and then I'll
run the bigger one, I also have 2 of the 7"x4' trays that look
like planter boxs, I use those for my veg plants, I run 6" net
pots filled with Coconot, a coco substitute that IMHO is the
shit, I got a lot of flack when I wrote a thread about it over
in the coco section, probably not the best choice of venues but...WTF,
and trays are filled with hydroton rock about 50lbs worth in the big tray.
And last but not least, I put my reservoir tanks directly under the
the trays, with one hose going straight up from the pump
and a drain hose going straight back down to the tank,
greatly reducing the risk of a catastrophic flood, barring a cracked or broken tray !
That's all I need to grow 5 or 6 plants @ a time, (that and 1400 watts) too pull over
a pound of premo bud per grow, plenty for me and my hippie/long hair/stoner friends.

I've been good man, .. I'm between crops, making the switch to DWC for shits-and-giggles.

It's not been much giggles. The ladies in the buckets freaked on a pH deal, are just now coming back around. One with PM.

The cuts I had are rooted, but not taking off at all, looking a bit battered.

Been cloning & vegging under T12 fluoros, .. That will change on Wednesday, when the 400 W MH arrives.

In the meantime, as a "Fuck this" plan, I potted the lone sorta-bigger-ish lady I had into some Dr. Earth soil. Will be running a couple more dirt ladies, just as insurance.

Really fucked myself on this between-crops thing. Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.

Ya I hear you man, when I switched to hydro, I was freak'n too,
try'n to micro manage every detail, then I "got over it" and it's
been smooth sail'n ever since, just remember it's only a weed
and all kinds of fuck'n idiots (myself included) grow it, how hard can it really be ?

I had a minor meltdown in my brain, something about "mixing and measuring and pH and ppm and all this shit is for the birds.."

So I figure this way, I'll get my feet wet (again) and hedge my bets, just in case. Some good ol' dirt as a backup.

And, in true stoner fashion, the plan may've changed, .. I was originally thinking 4 DWC buckets, nice sized bushes, .. Now I'm wondering if I oughtta just go with 2 DWC buckets, and then pack the rest of the space with dirt, .. Which could be a couple 3 gallon pots, and a handful of 1 gal sluggers, ..
