ive been lurking here for about 3 years, and many of you probably know me from on another message board. ive tried to sign up a couple times over the years, but for some reason i would never receive the confirmation email. well i tried again the other day and it worked so...here i am!

but on to my grow

first off want a big thanks to all the vert OG's such as heath, krunchbubble, sensisamuri, securityfirst, and northernfarmer

if it wasnt for you guys, id still be growing on the ground like a caveman.

My stadium consists of an 8'x11' footprint inside a 13'x10' bedroom with 7.5' ceiling. There are 3 shelves per side at 18", 30", and 42" in height.

4 1k lumateks power hortilux eye bulbs
14k btu window a/c keeps the whole shebang nice and cool (big ups WHOSIER DADDY for the DIY portable window ac tek)
1200cfm fan with 1400cfm phresh filter keeps odor under control
20lb co2 tank with ppm4 monitor keeps room at 1400ppm

as for nutes, this round i ran

AN Bud Candy
Protekt Silica
Pure Flowers (during week 5 only)

here is my window a/c all rigged up. it looks ghetto as fuck but works amazingly well. in fact i accidentally left it on 64 once with all 4k on and it was 64 when i walked in the next morning!!!

i love the sealed room though, this is my first round with it. no pests, perfect temps and humidity day and night, and explosive growth with the supplemental co2. in fact, when ive been out all day and dont have time to shower, i put on this suit over my clothes to keep pests out.

this is at 3wks veg, at day 1 of 12/12

then something horrible happened. i was on vacation for the first 2wks of flower and left the garden with a friend who has taken care of it before. however with the increased metabolism with the co2, i did not realize my plants would starve if not fed every single day like they had been(my friend could only water every other day). they didnt dry out at all between waterings, however the lack of daily nutrients really hurt them.

however just 2 weeks later, they were looking perfect again.

this is where ive been up till now. last weekend, i smashed my camera on a camping trip, however i promise to get a new one before harvest

their 7th week feed was just water + pureblend original at 10ml per gal + bud candy at 4ml per gal

then they got 4 days of water + budcandy at 4ml per gal
and finishing with a 10 day flush of pure water

Awesome setup! If one didnt know any better, I would think you had been posting and growing in the Vert forum since its inception. Awesome symmetry, looking forward to the yield soon. I am still toying with what I want to do with my 10x12...

Arminius....I basically have haha! (without the posting) As soon as the vert section was created, it was basically the first time I had seen vert. Within a couple months Krunch posted his 3k 8x8 verticals and i was AMAZED.

ran a single 600w vert 2 runs, and then 3 600w vert 1 run, and now 3 runs with 4kw

so i got a new camera but its pretty shitty. what else do you get for buying the cheapest one they had (80$ still!)

beginning the 9th week now and harvesting next thurs/fri/sat/sun and hopefully thats it!
NOTE: i havent been running co2 the final 3 weeks. it is supposed to hinder thc development as it keeps the plant focused on green growth.

been flushing the past few days with water and clearex. plants are really starting to suck up every last bit of life. this might be my best flush to date.

candy kush is starting to purple up nice

CK has BIG and DENSE buds. so far no rot, im keeping my fingers crossed and my eyes peeled. quite frosty, cant wait to make bubble and bho.

the dream star filled out nicely, but still has a light smell. when looked at under a scope, the trichomes on this strain actually appear to be more plentiful than on the CK! im thinking the CK just looks more frosted because its contrasted against the darker background

trichs are about 80% cloudy/20% clear on both strains. in a week i expect it to be about 10%clear 80% cloudy 10% amber. both strains 9-10 week finishers, taking them the full 10.

PS this was my first round running co2. after much research i decided to let the room run at 85F to allow the plants best absorption of the co2. but the whole time i couldnt get over the fact how in the past, all my frostiest most funky skunky nugs have always been winter grows when it gets cool in there.

any comments on running co2 at high temps vs low temps and the effects of the temps on terpenoid development???

edit: also...dont know if you can see in any of the pics but this some of the leaves are clawing. they havent clawed all grow until the flush, and this is the first time im using clearex, and this is the first time my leaves have ever clawed during flush. did i release some extra built up nasties into my plants when i meant to flush those away???

Man that looks awesome. Anything crossed with trainwreck always works such as Chernoble and what you just ran (Candy Kush, Trainwreck x Og Kush). Don't forget eye protection. There is a thread on it in the vert section. Youve probably allready read it though. What strain are you running next time? Can you add another light and potentially vegg more?

Did you see one of the photo's of the month? There is a picture of a vert setup with extra lights added towards the top of the canopy, there is a thread on it as well I believe.
