Newbe to nutes. Q about AN's Bud Candy. Increase yeild?

In my last garden I used AN's Bud Candy from beginning to end with EVERY watering up until the 7th week. The other nutes I was using were GH's flora nova bloom and AN's Overdrive(only week 5 and 6 w/ overdrive). The buds were HUGE. They were bigger indoors than outdoors in previous years. This is my first time doing things indoors btw.

Ok, so I'm now in my 2nd grow and things just don't look like the first time around. Same strain grown exactly like the first time. The only difference is that I"m not using ANY bud candy this time around. Yeah, I know plants need sugar and whatnot but really, it would have an affect on the yield this much? The buds are not nearly as big as they were in the 1st grow and I just can't understand why or how bud candy would affect it that much.

I dunno, fellas...just lookin' for a little input. I'm really new to all these fancy dancy nutes...confusing if ya wanna know the truth.

It looks like you are hand watering. Ideal situation for a side by side comparison.

Yeah, all 15 in the 8'x5' (2 1000w.) are hand watered. Side by side comparisons would be ideal but the difference is huge. In that first grow it averaged out to 5.1 zips per plant. I might only get about 4 this time. Sorry if it's hard to tell by the pics but I was desperate to get some input so that's why I came here.

The strain is Garilic Bud and in that first grow indoors the buds were bigger than outdoors! I couldn't believe it.

And u know what the funny thing is? In that first grow I vegged 'em until they were between 18"-20" tall. In the 2nd grow I vegged 'em until they were about 24"/25" tall and they aren't as big as the first grow!

There has to be something to this. Bud Candy from now on!

u probally would of been better of just buying two 40 watt cfls with the money that shit cost, would of gotten u an extra bit of weed for sure, additives are a joke, just buy more light or bigger pots if u want a bigger yeild.

not all additives increase weight.... some are carbs and sugars that feed microherd which in turn COULD add more weight but for shit like this i always notice a better product... more sticky tasty smelly etc....

cliffy, im curious how thick of a liquid bud candy is. is it real thick like carboload was? i was gonna start mixing most products from the 2 part program together in a bottle to create my own one part so i dont have to measure a huge amount of stuff all the time and i figured i would have to keep bud candy separate because of how thick it is. i figured it wouldnt mix in good but maybe im wrong

i have to agree on sweeteners. they do make your buds sweeter/stickier... if that what you want.

Not the next cycle but the one after that is when I will repeat everything from the first grow when I used bud candy. I'm anxious to find out.
