Hovz first 1,000 watt grow

So i'll be growing my growlab 120 which is about 4footx4foot. Soil is fox farms ocean forest. Nutrients is K.I.S.S. Method maxibloom at 7 grams per gallon of water. And yes i measure on a scale. Water is phed to 6.3-6.8. Anyone bored yet? fan is 6in inline on a fan speed controller plugged into a thermostat to keep the room about 75-80 degrees during the day. Fan sucks through a carbon filter to rid the smell before its pumped outside thru the window. Okay time for some pictures. I've been topping each plant quite a few times so it has a few tops instead of just one main cola. I'm hoping this increases the yield a bit. Plants have been vegging for a while under a 150watt hps but i just switched it out today for the 1000 watt and hooked up the fan and scrubber. The bulb is made by badass bulbs its the red diamond. i got a really good deal on it at the hydro store because i bought a cheapo 60 dollar 1000 hps bulb and it was defective and i brought it back and they gave me a 100 dollar bulb free of charge!

I hand water them, strain is called Guinea pig, a local strain a guy i know made about 10 years ago. It has the potential to produce. I'm also acquiring some big bud x white widow clones so those will be fun to tryout. This setup is just temporary my new grow shed should be done by winter time, but that will be a whole different thread.. Peace and would love to hear some feedback, later.

Bump... I watered them and switched them to 12/12 light comes on at 8 night and turns off at 8 in the morning.

I have my 4 plant run in action too at 3 weeks of 24/0 veg in 5G smart pots,at 1.5 feet tall they go to the 12/12 light cycle

Thanks mayne, don't give me any credit, the K.I.S.S. Method makes it way easy for me to have happy plants. Yea the strain is okay i have some big bud x white widow clones coming and also maybe some fast nevilles and some other g13 lab strains. Hope your grow goes well, i think i will flower mine as soon as i can and see if i cant pull 16 oz under the 1000 watt light.

Bump okay so i've been gone for a while, been busy with things, working on the house, building a new shed to grow in and also working. But now im back for good and i plan to stay. Learned too much on this site to just leave it all behind. Okay so here's the plants as of today.

so there's 14 plants in flower in 2 gallon bags in my gl120, i upgraded to 1000 watt switchable with a 1000 watt hps "badass bulb" new company at local hydro store. If i could go back i would defiantly use 3 gallon bags, it prolongs the time between waterings. Also K.I.S.S method works well for me because with my water once i add 7 grams of maxibloom to a gallon of water the ph is perfect right at 6.5 were i want it. Ill be posting more updates as things go.

Thanks mayne i guess this is day 27 flower for my ladies. i'm thinking about hitting em with some snow storm ultra but cant decide i might just go 100% maxibloom and then hit em with koolbloom 4 days before the flush

Nice i've seen good results from the trio pack and the tiger bloom in soil.

the dry stuff especially the cha ching seems to promote some powerful growth
I am interested in trying some different nutes also would like to give vertical lamp setup a go

Yup the chaching is the one u use at the end of flowering i believe. I've seen what just maxibloom can do and im gonna stick with it. And koolbloom of course. GH = easy on my wallet which i like.

Have about the same setup... you should easily pull what you are looking for.. If not might be pot size (????) but you will get damn close. I Use your same formula except always used Kool bloom for flowering and sometimes a little Nitrogen in early flower if they look like they need it... I will be switching to Maxi next grow ( as you) and finish off with Kool Bloom as the bottle is getting low. Always had good luck with my KISS grow method but anxious to do better. BTW I found the Kool Bloom needs a good flush or you can taste it

Hey nukklehead, thanks mayne, next time will defiantly be 3 gallons just so i can prolong the time between waterings. I also use koolbloom as a pk booster. I hope i get get atleast around 12 oz then i will be happy, alright thanks for stoppin by, later .

nice hovz, thats alot of light for a 120! vegetation looks thick too, seems like you would benefit better if you did some trimming/tucking maybe? i dunno, i pack my tents pretty tight and i usually wind up feeling like i should have thinned them down a bit more for better penetration. i think 12 oz. is a feasible goal for sure, best of luck to you bro!

I sure hope so man, im only running 2 gallon bags which kinda sucks but next time ill prolly run some 3 gallon smart pots. Hoping for around a half oz - 1 oz per plant

Thanks for stopping by bro, idk i really just tryed to pack em in there this time, i also topped these plants so i was going for 2 or 3 tops. The 1000 watt penetrates fairly deep =). Thanks for the kind words mayne take it eazy.
