flexibility training makes little noise and is fun and health beneficial too
followed with a period of controlled breathing
strategies for all interactions possible
I like the train idea.
Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon, etc. You could learn all the characters and role play to your heart's content. Build a scale model of the Island of Sodor. Debate the merits of steamies vs. diesels.
Maybe you could go outside and look for a guerilla spot that doesn't get ripped.
shit man. Yeah I guess if a treadmill is too noisy a violin would probably be too. I'm really thinking hobby thing but it cost money. What could I build that would be HUGE out of paper mache? I could do it on the porch and have it be like 15' feet tall. Would need a wire frame though. MAybe not. Then paint and detail it. What would be something really weird to see on someone's porch or lawn? A pyramid? Bigfoot? Would need fake hair. An alien? A giant can of beans or something? Mcdonald's arch? An obilisk? I'm so bored I want to scream. I have NO cable and TWO dvds.
Well I just blew 15 minutes reading this thread. I kinda thought that somebody might actually suggest something worth doing...
I don't have as much time as I used to have but I have always enjoyed working with my hands. Leather tooling is time consuming and can even be profitable if you get fairly good. I started out tooling and doing Tandy kits and as I learned how to tool and stitch better I started learning how to braid leather and rawhide.
And while playing a violin might be a lil bit noisy; building one yourself is interesting, educational and very self gratifying.
There are also companies like Thompson Center that sell kits of replica muzzle loader firearms. I have assembled and hand finished dozens of em over the years, and the leather working and braiding fits with the hobby quite well.
