This is my very first post on ICmag and I've read all of Humboldtlocals stuff from last year. I am a member on RIU and have been checking some stuff out over here. This is awesome shit and I would love to have some of your genetics. I'm doing 100 and 30 gallon smart pots this year. Awesome work. Let me know what you think!

Your garden looks great. As far as the seeds,I have to look into the details of getting set up with seebay. But,yea,I plan on having tons of seeds and would love to share them for all to enjoy.

Was also going to ask you if you were hang drying or drying on racks like HL was doing. I've tried both ways and like hanging them up better but wanted an experts opinion.

And if you're ever game to donate some genetics or wanted to trade some I'm here in the Bay area of NorCal.

Thanks

I'm going to hang all my plants to dry. I won't be using racks.

As far as genetics,i'm looking into getting them at seedbay/boo. Also in the future there may be a few dispensaries that may have some of my seeds and clones. I'm donating some cuts to local clubs so they can get them to their patients.
Thanks so much for your interest.
And thanks for all the people posting in this thread. All the kind words really mean a lot to me. I wish we could all have a big smoke out one day.

Wonderful thread!!!! I'm excited to see the pictures to come, now that everything is fattening up. Of all of the males you have kept, do any shine above the rest? I understand they are all wonderful in different ways, just curious.

Thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks for sharing! :)

I selected the males I'm using from over 350 seedlings started in the spring. I narrowed the males down over time until I was left with true stand outs.
As far as the most impressive,it's a hard choice. I did select a Dieselberry X SSSDH back in May for it's smell and structure before it even sexed. So far I've only used it for f2's.
The Mr.Nice SSH male I kept smells awesome when you rub the stem and is quite beefy.
I kept 4 SD IBL males and one is clearly the most vigorous and strong smelling when you rub the stem. Smells skunky, funky, diesely.
The NL male is very thick and strong structured, with a sweet smell and it's very symmetrical.
The Pitbull OG x SD Ibl F2 male I selected from 10 males. It has the same leaf pattern as the standout female and a nice OG smell with a stem rub. It has massive flower clusters and is a big yielder as far as flowers and pollen. It's vigorous and sturdy. It may be the star. I've been crossing it with everything.
The Durban and SSSDH were the only males I had from their strains but have ended up really exploding with flowers and pollen and both really smelled strong in veg.
The Dieselberry X witches weed is my favorite though. I kept 2 males from about 30 seedlings. One male had the brightest yellow densest tightest flower clusters and a strong sturdy structure. I chose it in June for it's smell. The other one was also chose for it's smell and extreme vigor. It's flowers are not as dense but they are everywhere all along the branch, def a heavy yielder.
Hope this answers your question.

Thanks, you answered it very well! I know we are all real busy right now, but, if you have the time, I would love to see any of those males. Good day.

Tomorrow is harvest day for pollen. I'll be harvesting all the tops from all the males and leaving the plants alive to continue to flower. I'll also be cloning and revegging some of them.
All the males have been in my indoor mom room since they began to release pollen. It's is a madhouse in there. It's the worlds biggest sausage party. Some males are seed and others are clone from seeds planted in Feb. The DSD and SD ibl are from clone and are just starting to release pollen under 12/12 indoors. I only have 2 little DSD males in 6 inch square pots so I have to be extra efficient with the pollen. I'm making f2's with 4 individual seed plants from a 07 seed pack, they were planted in mid Feb and are special to say the least. I'll also be making f2's with my proven winner keep female planted in 07 or 08. I also plan to cross the limited DSD pollen with KKSC,OG,and ECSD. If anyone has any suggestions of any crosses I should make with the males I've listed and females I have please chime in. I'm open to suggestions for fun crosses.
Made some SFV OG X Chemdog f2 tonight. After tomorrow I'll have made f2's with 7 different OG X Chemdog feamle phenos all from one male,3 from clone,4 from seed.
I will take some pictures soon.

Took some nice shots. Here is the Mr.Nice.
It never got to veg much, but sure is beefy. My plan for next year is to run sup lights over my raised beds and plant Mr.Nice clones May 15 from 5 gallon pots. I'll take clones March 15th and take away sup light July 1. That should make some 6+ pound Mr.Nice plants.

Still not a big fan of the smoke though.
