I've did some LSTing yesterday and removed a lot of fan leaves.
I know a lot of people would say that's a mistake, but it has a long time to grow in veg and will hopefully produce more fine fan leaves.

I'm all about trail and error when it comes to growing.. I have been thinking a lot about LSTing and removing the early fan leaves.
So why not just try you know, this will just give me more experience

Time for another update!

Another week flew by again! Damn been working so much i barely noticed

Anyway here's a new picture!

As you can see its kinda bushy and compact!

As i said earlier i removed most of the fan leaves as an experiment to try and get the branches to grow faster, i dunno if it did anything better but the plant looks really healthy!

Note that i did not top this plant, just some LSTing.

I hope it starts to grow a bit faster soon cus its gonna take forever to fill up the net if it doesn't

Wow she is BUSHY! Did you only LST on this? Looks like its been fimmed its exploded so much at the top!

Keep the pics coming. My thread started out as a question, but I should have probably kept a proper diary although your setup is much nicer than mine. I'll be looking to get a 250W HPS for my next grow I think. Not sure whether 400W will be necessary in my cab

Put 2 Big Bangs on blotting paper to germinate 2 days ago myself, along with 2 Pineapple Chunk.

I grew some Big Bang earlier under 250W CFL and they stretched like hell, i think the Big bang need a lot of light to get bushy, but i guess all plants do..

Hey mate thanks!!
I know she's a fucking monster!! I did not top this one, i only removed all the big fan leaves and LST'ed the top down.
It could have something to do with me using HALO in the early stage of growth. But it seems i have a great phenotype here, will try to take some cuttings and save this one for sure!

If you can use a cooltube and 400w id highly recommend it, god when i was using 250w hps i never got results like this!!

Its really growing fast now, i can clearly see it getting even bushier in just one day! God i love this plant

So just to be clear.

I have not topped this plant. All i did was to remove all the big fan leaves (4 of them) and i then LSTed the top down, all the tops you see on the picture above was all there before removing the fan leaves.

I sprayed some HALO on the plant in the early days of growth, this (and the phenotype) might have helped making it bushy.

The lights right now are 20/4

take some cuts before you start 12/12 . lower branches will work fine, seems like they root faster to. she sure is a indica dom girl for sure, did the other one you ran look like this one ?

Nope the other ones wasn't this bushy, this ones special!
I sprayed it with some Halo in early growth, might have something to do with the explosion of branches.

Yeah she is fem'd and im gonna take some cuts from it Will probably make some bonsai moms as i have a pretty small propagation tent.

I never used any CFL on this plant, but i had another grow with big Bang and i used a 250w cfl, and yes it was one solid bulb.

This one is a Fem'd from Greenhouse seeds.

And another week gone by, hope everyone had a great weekend!

Took a photo of her just before she went to sleep

31days from seed: (4th week of growth)

I did some pretty aggressive pruning, also did some LSTing.

Won't touch her for a while now, will just let her grow and fill up the net nice and slow!

I will let her veg for 4 more weeks, or should i flip her earlier?

About flipping, i would wait a few more weeks at least, wait and see how she progresses in the next couple of weeks.
