i took out a while ago a SSH/PTK x Beeniemans choise female and i put it inbetween my chilis, in a spot i prepared during the day. it was pitch-black outside, so i couldnt see a darn thing, but i think i put the plant more or less in the hole i prepared. i threw half a bucket of nute water over where i think the plant was and thats it.

hehe

i think i gotto get up early and have a look at it to see if i really succeeded or not! the spot is well shaded so the plant wont get too badly scorsched by the sun or such, its anyway been on a low ater diet for a while in its 1 liter beer plastic glas. its done well. a plant that reaches me up to my belly. kind of lanky 3 topped thing.. gonna be fun!

that is gonna be fun, try and get a pic if ya can do it without drawing attention to it. i always wonder how a Spanish guerrilla grow would do in the south with that dry desert like weather. if you can keep watered should be incredible.

yeah im the same hate buying buds, in the worst case scenario i'll trade with a budy his now for some of mine when it's ready, but running out is always a bummer, i try to avoid it, hehe...

yeah man im happy im not buying, since the selection around here is really BAD hehe

the spot i put the plant in, about an hour ago is really quite hidden. i hope it takes the transplant out well, and if things go well, in about a week or so i should have reson to take some pic :)

its going to be an adventure :D hehe the whole plot is in plain sight of who ever looks into my garden, but i just trust in the lush-ness of my little chili field to cover it nicelly!

i got prepared some metal bars bent into a U-shape to nail the plant down into the ground if it gets too perked up.

my plan is to keep the plant horizontal along the ground. the root-ball is so small, i did only a smaller mound wich the plant will grow in. kind of an elevated ledge, in the middle of a big elevated ledge. this is so when i flood the chili field for watering it, only the roots of the plant is going to get partially wet. like this i can do some top feedings with some amendments every now and then, but i gotto keep additivies that dont work with chilis to a minimum.

it will be a recycled coco / soil grow :)

anyway - lets see tomorow.

i gotto be honest and admit rigth away the plant got a lot of ugly leaf and is not the most beatyfull, but this is what a 3 month veg under a 400W hPS does. a lot of plants in an smal area makes me forced to keep them as columnar as possible untill flowering. when i do get to flowering i usually do bend them 90º to get the top corona of branches after the lollipop session to keep low and spread out.

so this plant outside is actually in the ugly columnar stage, and actually this time im not going to trim and branches or tips of, so i just hope the sun outside will boost the growth in the lower areas where the HPS can not.

indoors both flowering rooms are well into flowering, and soon enough i will have lots of nugs. i kind of hope the two rooms will not get too many mature plants simultaniouslly because i dont know if my drying room can handle that amount. maybe i will need to set up a 2nd drying room too..

should clarify some things - my mini cayenne field is about 4x5 m and has grown into one big bush. there is only one spot where i actually left enough room between the chili plants to fit anything, and the spot is about a foot wide, and 4m long. i will tuck away cayenne branches to make sure the plant gets light down there..

the whole cayenne plot is a big raised bed (old mound) of old recycled coco from the indoor, chicken manure, and compost mixed with the local soil.

there should be no need to feed the ssh/ptk beeniemans plant too much when it gets going.

i might only give a little bit of PK 13-14 later on, but not much since i dont want to damage the chilis.

it occurs to me since im going to do a bigger chili field next year, i might as well take time to prepare some good spots for plants earlier in the season, but it will mean a lot more of work to keep the plants down and hidden if they get too big...

indoor is going along nicelly.. wont take too long before im harvesting again :D :D

B

bonecarver_OG

:) hehe ok ill try to take time for a few :)

i gotto say "nicelly" is a relative thing when u got almost 35ºC in the first flowering area, and 40ºC in the 2nd flowering area :) hehe

but anyway ill take pics later :D :D :D

almost two weeks ago my powersuply for the PC burned up. because its vacation times, i couldnt get a new one untill today :D

nice to be back!!!

B

bonecarver_OG

damn...

this august has been crap. anything that can break has broken, and i have had to spend most of the vacation money on new equipment, including fixing my pc etc etc.

last thing to give up is the extraction of the grow area. serious issue in the heat we got here...

absolutelly one of the most annoying vacations we had.

on top the outdoor season is soon in, and its going to be impossible to do business untill the beginning of the coming spring.

kind of sucks. i got one month to try to recuperate the dosh spent on stuff, hopefully things will work out well. because of the very hot summer, i dont have too many plants in the finishing stage of flowering so it will be tight.

i might be forced to cut some plants a week or so earlier than i would normal. it really sucks, since we all know one a week or two the yields do increase a lot. but i gotto get this situacion under control ASAP. no way around it.

wow.. been trimming 2 plants for 4 hours. its darn late and tomorow we are going to the beach... gonna be heavy hehehe

should start trimming before 12 in the night hehe :D

anyway, massive colas. amazing for this time of the year here with the high temps and humidity.

B

bonecarver_OG

awesome.. the two plants i harvested were really nice and mature. only some lower nugs have some white hairs.

it means i can leave the rest of the plants to finish of, since i dont need to cut anything earlier etc.

in my veg area the extractor has stopped working.. sure it has to happen now when we have high humidity and heat.. well luckilly it seems atm no mould issues has developed yet. gotto get a new one ASAP..

no beach trip today.. seems like im spending the little remains of my vacation cash on new extraction equipment. IT SUCKS!

peace all

i made one more shelf for my drying racks today. now it can fit a whopping 2,6 m2 of FAT nugs :D should help when i got a few plants to cut at the same time. like now. i expect to cut more tomorow or the day after.

should really save september it seems....

peace!

this is bonecarvers SSH/PTK x Beeniemans choise grown outside in the ground using bio canna nutes. its about 2 weeks into flowering and its just getting massive.
the guy had made wooden beams to make roof but the plants are abit to tall for that so all that work he was so proud of bombed.
its one of the fastest growing plants i have ever grown.
we put em out 2 months ago then they where 40 cm.

hehe talk about BAD LUCK.

we are having the first rains for all summer, rigth now when i got NO extraction... sucks if i get mould. this far it seems ok. id hate to have to cut the tips early, since the ones i got left to cut soon are almost done. if they can handle just a few days more of high humidity and heat im going to be sorted..

THANK JAH ALMIGHTY for the jamaican genes giving the SSH/PTK x Beeniemans an awesome resistance to heat and humidity. cant stress how much this fact has saved my summer, and atleast the coming year for a few friends.

selection work has started for moms for the next season. looking for the most vigorous and biggest yielders of dense huge resinous nugs. potency obviously affects the deal. i think i will select a few, since i know from the last yearsw of planting, there is a keeper pheno in almost every 5-6 plants. the question is to decide what flavour or colour is preference.. if i cant decide i rather have a few. wont hurt with some flavour and aroma selection...

the rains today are massive.

i gotto go down and check the main kolas every 30 minutes. u can say im stressed...

going....

peace
