What are these "shoes" you speak of?

Barefoot unless I'm working, then it's steel toes. Flip flops if I have to leave the house

Hello Welder Dan,
did you mean me? Click on the link under the word Knobelbecher, than you see it. Knobelbecher were the boots wich the german Wehrmacht made their "europe tour" 39-45. They where called so by the people. It was a joke, in real life i were sneakers from adidas.

Clarke Wallabees.

If the Brits could make a shoe this comfy and long lasting, we can easily forgive them their mispronunciation and quirky spelling of English.

If they toss in an East London or Geordie accent in a movie, I have to hit the subtitles button.

I think it automatically comes on if there's a Scotsman in the film.

All shoes and espically the sandals by Merrell!

I also have a pair of Merrill leather sandals, thats the only thing i wear on my feet ,been wearing the shit out of this pair.Unless i have to wear a actual shoe then its a new balance.

New Balance for me, for the simple fact they come in different widths. Nearly every other brand has my heels flopping around like a dick in a shirt sleeve (I take a 'D' width mens). But for winter i crack out my ol' faithful Caterpillar boots.

Only problem with the Cats are that in Australia at least, they don't resole them for you like they did when i first got a pair 20-something yrs ago. Used to have pretty musclular legs from running around the parts dept i worked in with them heavy (750 g per shoe or near 1 & 3/4 lb per shoe) steel toe oil suede boots.
