ARTS and CRAFTS: using fan leaves to decorate

was wondering how i could "glue" or "attach" my fan leaves to say a bong, ashtray or maybe a ceramic plate.

a while ago, near 14st./union sqr. i saw a guy selling different things (cups, plates, ashtrays, etc) with cannabis leaves on them. at first i thought they may have been just painted on but i walked over to the table and realized that the damned things had actual weed leaves on them!

what shocked me was that they were healthy/young looking leaves! i wish i would have had the time to talk to the guy but i was late for wok at the time, and didnt see him again. those guys are sporadic anyway (not in the same spots, not on the same days, never consistent)

so i was wondering if anyone on here has ever used their fan leaves that way? how would you "attach" or "glue" a fan leave to perhaps a favorite clear glass bong or pipe? maybe a ceramic or pottery item?

wouldnt the leaves deteriorate after a while? is there a way to preserve them on the item, or to preserve a leaf?

any ideas or direction pointing would be appreciated.

im looking to purchase a straight/clear glass/beaker style bong and wanted to know how or even if something like attaching a leaf to it from my garden could be done

thanks sum420! i'll be checking back on the thread now and again, but i really hope that it generates the results its needs to as a thread.

i dont wanna just start conversation but . . . just thinking about being able to add what youve grown to what you smoke it out of is something else in thought.

ive always tried to get a new piece for/with each harvest. my rule is sell the first ounce and then buy a pipe ,bong, bubbler (pretty much 2x dry smoking pieces and 2x wet smoking pieces)

^^this

we bought some plain pine drink/rolling trays, stained them, then randomly placed different sized leaves on it, then poured the stuff on..some had little piles of seeds, some had little tiny popcorns, the odd rolling paper or two..came out pretty good and gave em all away..never took any pics though..takes about 24 hours to harden and about a week to cure up so it sets up..
have fun!

Michaels has stuff called mod podge it comes in a white bottle with a yellow sticker.

Its a waterbased sealer, glue and finish.

It goes on white but dries clear. My girl puts flattened flowers and fan leaves on everything with that stuff. Couldnt think of anything better for what you are doing
