This has been gone over with the mods many times. the reason they limit politics is because it turns into a shit fest 100 % of the time. if it isn't productive it is a waste of bandwidth. welcome to icmag

I just had a thread binned because some people in the thread were discussing "politics." Last thing I would have expected in a forum about Cannabis Laws and Cannabis Legislation! Expecting people to talk about laws and legislation without mentioning politics is like asking people to talk about religion without mentioning god.

I stayed away from ICMag for almost a year because of their insane TOU. Just when I thought it was safe to come back, I see now the insanity continues. What I don't get is why play this game. Why not just admit ICMag is all about selling products, and eliminate all forums not directly related to discussion of an advertiser's products? Sure would make it easier for people trying to figure out what is and is not allowed.

On the bright side, ICMag is quite unique in their extreme policies. There are lots of other places where you can freely discuss cannabis and everything related to it without being censored for mentioning the wrong product or the wrong topic. PM me if you'd like to know where you can talk freely. Assuming this post or this thread does not get binned.

I dissagree with the emboldened above.

It's shit canned as soon as the GOP shows up to defend their positions from the spread of shit from misinformed stoners, which obviously runs counter to most of the mods opinions here...otherwise bash away...it's all good as long as you're on 'their side'

I'll stand toe-2-toe with any of them on that issue.They'll lose...it's all over the board, worse than mites and it stinks.

The original post was nothing more than a direct quote from the president. Literally. I didn't even comment on it or participate in the discussion that followed. So, a statement from the president in response to a question about his position on medical marijuana has nothing to do with cannabis laws? OK.

For the record, I've never "jammed" anyone in these forums, politician or ICMag member or anyone else. Nor have I, to the best of my knowledge, participated in any slingfest, political or otherwise. Just sayin'.
