I'm going to have to go with:
Carlos Santana
Eric Clapton
Jimi Hendrix
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Mark Knopfler
Pat Metheny
Wes Montgomery
Jeff Beck
Mick Taylor
Les Paul

That's 10, I know, but impossible to whittle it down.
Couldn't leave out some great jazz guitarists.
For those that don't know, Wes Montgomery was the top jazz guitarist in the 50s-60s. Unique style, and a big influence on SRV, believe it or not. I believe Stevie has a song, "We All Remember Wes".
There's a Jimi Hendrix tribute album with different guitarists doing Jimi, called "Stone Free". Awesome album, and Pat Metheny plays one of the best guitar tracks on it that I ever heard. Pick it up if you have a chance.

Hmmm....just listened to that YouTube , and the sound quality is poor. If you like Hendrix, do yourself a favor and get the album "Stone Free, A Tribute To Jimi Hendrix".
Contributers include:
The Cure, Eric Clapton, Spin Doctors, Buddy Guy, Body Count, Seal & Jeff Beck, Nigel Kennedy, Pretenders, P.M. Dawn, Slash with Paul Rogers & Buddy Miles, Belly, Living Color, Pat Metheny, M.A.C.C.

Ted Nugent is a sell out piece of shit. You see him on real world or cribs or whatever? Lives in NH and just hunts shit with a bow and arrow on an ATV. He has 2 good songs IMO, Stranglehold and Cat Scratch Fever. That is IT.

Ah, come on man. You know Ted Nugent is the greatest cracker to ever pluck a gitfiddle. Nobody wore a loin cloth or swung from a vine better. Not to mention a decent studio guitarist always traveled live so Ted could run around like an idiot.

You're not forgetting the greatest song in music history are you? I'll give you a hint:

It ze wango ze tango

One, two, three, four

Come on boys,

Roll out the wango!
:rtfo: :jerkit: <TED
