We've had hail here this year (not uncommon), as well as a tornado or two not that far away. Spring came late and the weather has been generally screwy. Things seem to be improving but much slower than last year.

Haven't seen this thread in quite a while. Supermanlives, how goes it man? Glad the C99 cross worked out. I still have that line and plan to cross it to my best Spacedawg phenos sometime in the near future. I was hoping to this season actually but it wasn't in the cards.

8/22 and my girls are just barely starting to throw pistils...i thought they'd be in full swing by now...i'm worried they're not going to be even close to finishing. Tricky climate to grow in.

mandala #1 - all phenos well into flower.
sts freebies - no flowers WTF - less susceptible to leaf spot
bagseed - highly susceptible to leaf spot - halted with sulfur.. after foliage is well rinsed will keep up with serenade.
purp maroc/some other freeb - showing flowers.. no signs of fungi

bud rot spotted in a few places on m#1's - the ones that are not under hoop house.. soaked with serenade. well see.

things going well in general. Great year for fungi to thrive.. I hear hurricane irene may come up the coast and give us some rain and wind this weekend.. pray for my pvc hoop house.

blackberry's show alot of gray mold..
onions suffered botrytis... as did greenhouse tomatoes at work.

hoping mandala's will be chopped by end of september.

not too many fly over's at my place.. but daily fly over's (pontoon planes) at work.

a buddy got popped last week for cultivation.. as the story goes, they never left the crib.. didn't get booked or anything.. got a ticket, took the plants, and left.

that's all i can think of for now.. back to the grind.

We just had a short hail storm in maine. Hasn't happened in 10+ years to my knowledge. Anyone else notice odd weather?

Other then that great.

late pass, but that shit was so wack...

at work it wasn't bad.. no crops hurt..
at home, it did a number on almost all crops - especially lettuce (not the ganj though), and made holes in my houseplants that were soaking in the sun. Heard reports that hail accumulated, looking like snow on the lawns.

Ya some of my tomatoes have been totally devastated by grey mold...wish i knew mold was such a problem before i put the MJ into the ground.

They're saying Irene might make landfall in New England as a cat 1.

Mass pistils gotta be coming from somewhere? Buds probably just haven't filled out. Those are early stages. Did they stretch? Some of mine show zero "pistil masses". Early varieties will work out well. My mandala #1 are getting chunky. Especially purp phenos

I have a few strains going and some started showing pistols 3 weeks ago..now with the hurricane that passed some had some bud mold..they are in a greenhouse also...I cut the few buds off and did seranade and sprayed sulphur on the ground also..but the buds are swelling up nice now...you can see a difference daily now...

whats inn the GH is

Amnesia haze
Barney Blue Cheese
Trainwreck
blue widow
white widow
sour grapefruit
exodus cheese
klaskinova

the guano bloom teas have really set them off...

boy does it smell nice in there during the day with some heat in there....will be putting a dehumidifier in this week to keep it dryer during the night dew

Been some excellent weather since the rains last week.
Here's my Biddy Early runt I kept on the homefront.

Trichs are a milky white, another wk or so.
Checked on one of my two guerrilla plants today, and she was coming along the same.
Also checked out one I farmed out to a buddy, same harvest window, cept his is an orange pheno, where mine are sweet skunk.
Hoping my other one is "orange-y". :D

Hope all you west of me, Vt., W.Ma., Ct, RI, didn't get washed out by Irene. :frown: I know there had to be casualties, but hope many of you have something to show for it.

Southern Maine seacoast here, Female Seeds Pure Ak pics taken last week, both are with me reaching up for the tops....very happy with the outcome so far.

Just started to notice the very beginnings of some bud rot here and there, with some rain forecast for next week thinking we might have to pull them a week or 2 earlier than we had hoped for.
