Help me find out why i waisted/failed my crop

I've just harvested sensi seeds skunk 1 feminized after 8 weeks of 12/12, in a DWC, under a 600 W HPS, using NUTRI NOVA nutes, flushed 1 week, ...
The plants were beautiful, no burn, the buds are dense, shiny, sticky, full of cloudy trichomes.
3 weeks of drying...
The problem is that when i smoke this skunk, i feel no effect at all. It's not a weak weed, it's a weed that don't contain any THC, i can smoke a loaded joint without coughing at all, and it leaves me less stone than before, for sure.
Skunk is not a super potent strain, i know, but it should be a decent smoke, and zero effect at all.

What can have happened to get such a miserable final product ?

Can it be trichomes without THC ?

Do you have a really high tolerance already? Maybe cut what you smoke in half for a few days to drop your tolerance some. Eight weeks seems a little early to me but it should still get you high.

think hard ... what was different with this grow from yr others. must be something ...

The only difference maybe was that i add CO2 with baking soda and acid for swimming pools, NaHS04, but the plants seemed to love it, PH more about 6.2, before it was 5.8, i don't see nothing else...

I was just surprised by the low odor level at harvest for a "skunk" that is supposed to stink !
My next crop is Nirvana PPP, at 7 weeks, almost no odor, i'm scared ...

Do you have a really high tolerance already? Maybe cut what you smoke in half for a few days to drop your tolerance some. Eight weeks seems a little early to me but it should still get you high.

Actually, i have nothing else to smoke than this crappy weed, my tolerance is low i think. Ok 8 weeks is maybe a little short for skunk which leans more towards the sativa side, but as you say i should feel something... The thing that drives me crazy is to see all these beautiful buds with trichomes and no THC in it, unbelievable...

Ive only ran across this one time since 1998. Plants grown in soil, all from seed. 1 plant out of all of them, yield was good, nice plant, grew just like the rest but WOULD NOT GET YOU HIGH AT ALL. Even had trics and looked great...but even after not smoking at all for days it wouldnt do shit to ya...not sure why...just my .02

What a shit ! Was it the same strain than the others ?

I would like to find out if it comes from the seeds or from me, or the nutes, or the heat ? i'm lost!

Deepest sympathies. It's quite possible you did nothing wrong. Sometimes seeds are smurfed from the beginning. I grew a batch once that reeked and was covered in resin that yielded no high at all.

I just had same experience with Ditch Passion Brainstorm. Gee, it look like weed, taste like weed, but did not got you high at all. Even lightweight smokers said it was shit in word real meaning.

Reading reports from Sensi quality anything could be possible...

Have had skunks not finished near, and they definately got you high. You could sample your PPP(lower branch). If it hits you, then you know who to blame.

Plants with high cbd and modest thc levels sometimes have little to no psychedelic effect but are great for pain. I had one like that and lost it. It did get me a little high though... But if you know someone with chronic back pain you may get them to try it and see if it works for their pain. You may have stumbled on a rare med quality. Or it could just be sensi ditch weed!

You could have a pain killing super strain. I would test it on people with severe pain, and see what they say. You could have the holy grail of pain management, or you could just have shit weed.

Are you in CA? Drop the 150 to have the bud lab tested. Labs like these might exist in other medicinal states. All it takes is an HPLC and Spec...

Well yesterday, i cut a low branche of PPP which is 6 weeks of flo ( i told 7 before ) and today i put it in the micro wave. I rolled a little joint and it got me a little high, so now i'm convinced that the sensi skunk seeds are crap ! I have to put a review on the Boo to deter people from buying them...

Your plants look heat stressed with all of that foxtailing on the buds. Try moving your lights up gradually starting week 5. Should lead to more crystal production.

Experiments were done long ago that showed that 40 watts per sq foot of fluorescent was maximum usable light.

Is that just for fluorescent lighting, or lighting in general?

I've got a study from 2008 that states that Cannabis Sativa will achieve maximum photosynthesis at 1500 μmol m-2 s-1 PPFD at 30 degrees Celsius.

This translates to about 11,000 lumens per sq. ft at 86 Fahrenheit.

Here's the last paragraph in their peer-reviewed paper:

Furthermore, higher PN, WUE and nearly constant Ci/Ca ratio under elevated CO2 concentration, reflects its

Foxtailing comes from heat stress ? My light was at the max, i could not put it higher !! The problem is not the cristal production, if all the cristals were containing THC, i would be high, and it's not the case ...

I viewed your grow diary and the last pics at day 61 didn't even look at all resinous and the flowers didn't look ripe. Maybe they were ripe but don't put out much resin. My guess is that Sensi isn't doing as much work on selecting the best specimens for seeds. It's probably all about the money now and they just want to crank out seeds without actual testing or anything. Could be that it's a femmed version. The Skunk I grew years ago always had lots of resin all over the leaves and stuff.

Something else, though many will disagree, I find that too much light actually makes worse weed. Experiments were done long ago that showed that 40 watts per sq foot of fluorescent was maximum usable light. After that you're just making heat. Since HPS is more efficient, you probably wouldn't even need that much. About 400 watts per sq meter or yard is probably plenty, especially in an enclosed space like a tent. Anyway, just my two cents worth. Probably mainly the seeds were the problem.

If it's true, it can be a part of my problems. I have maybe too much light which give too much heat. I will try to lower the power ...Thanks for advice...

Is this one foxtailing ? Is it due to heat stress ? This tent is not so hot, but i can change the light for a lower one...
