Hey IC. Welcome to the show. I'm going to be keeping this diary now that things are rolling in the new spot, so that I can keep track of everything later, and so that you guys can maybe throw some input in as well.

So, before I get started, I'm going to need to smoke one of course.
Here's a little nug of what I'm currently smoking. Sorry it's a little out of focus. Not sure what it is, but it is tasty.

So, a little about the setup:

The strains are Twilight, Chemdog, and Kong plus some Purple Kush (for sure female) as well as Cheese, Blue Hash and some Super Silver Haze that are yet to be sexed.

Hopefully at least one or two turn out to be girls.

It is 3000W, Split into two separate bloom rooms. (two lights in one, one in the other)

We're setting it up for a perpetual harvest every 2 weeks, to keep some variety in the place.

Alright, so I'll show you guys around a little...... after i smoke another one.

So here are the moms, in order from left to right:
Front row: Super Silver - Chemdog - Twilight - Cheese
Back row Twilight - Twilight - Blue Hash

Clones

Once these girls are ready to be cloned, like the PK was earlier, They go into rockwool and a dome for a while.

After they root, they're thrown into a bubbler tote to veg for a while, ideally until they're about 24" tall. This system is great because it's still easy to transplant, and you can mix one batch of nutes for a bunch of plants. Plus, they're scalable. You can just go grab another tote from wally world if you need space for more girls. All it is is an airpump and airstone. Currently they're vegging under flouros, and it seems to be fine by them.



That particular tote was thrown into flower pretty much as soon as it was filled just so that we could dial some things in, and the pumps and stuff would be available to veg clones of the other girls as soon as they were ready.

Update

Here's what we're smoking today:

Not sure what it is again, but definitely a sativa. A very potent one at that.

So far, I have to say that of all of the strains going, Twilight from Dutch Passion has been the most vigorous, and the most stable. It's just perfect. It's symmetrical, it's not too tall or too short, and is bushing out NICELY. High hopes for her. I would for sure invest in genetics from them again. Every seed so far has germed and the plants are all healthy.

Chemdog was from Greenhouse Seeds, and it is also doing very well. 2 were popped, and both germed. Only one survived, but that very well could have been our fault.
Chemdog is busing out just like Twilight, and it looks like it's going to be great. Everyone I talk to who's smoked some says it's some of the best bud they've tried.

SSH is going to be a monster, she (hopefully she) is going to be tall and lanky for sure. Looking very healthy though.

Cheese and Blue Hash were from Dinafem I think and both of them are looking good.

Twilight is from Dutch Passion. Supposedly it is (Pure Brazil x KC 606)

The next order is going to include Dolce Vita and Grapefruit, but we're still looking for other killer strains to run, and are open to all of your suggestions.

Alright, so as always, we'll start out with what we're currently smoking on.
This time it's G13, and it is amazing.

Tastes great, very potent. There's a closeup if anyone is interested.

Anyways, a little update on the moms

They have exploded, Twilight and Chemdog especially.

And, the first round of clones has been taken. 6 or 7 each of Twilight and Chem, plus a couple each of SSH and Cheese. As soon as those last ones root, we'll flower to see if they're boys or girls.

From when we were flowering a plant in soil earlier, we had pre-mixed water ready. Just put the labels on those jugs to keep track of what they were.

Update tomorrow after work, it's just been really busy. The clones are starting to show roots, way sooner than I was expecting. And a second batch has been taken.

Hey everyone.

As always, I'll start with a bong hoot, and a pic of what we're smoking currently.

Also, some other cool news: That G13 we showed you guys the other day had a couple of seeds in it, and we managed to germ one.

Very excited to add G13 to our repertoire, let's keep our fingers crossed that it's a female!

And here are a couple quick snaps of some of the mothers, looking good!


I'll post a quick snap of that bucket of PK once the lights come on.

Oh, and just in case RDWC doesn't work out for us, we're doing one plant Hard Mode boys.

Here, you can see that we went at least three weeks without watering, because that's the mark of a true grower.
The soil is a custom manure mix, but you actually have to follow the cow around with a plastic shopping bag to get the correct type of manure. Anything else won't do, you'll just burn the plants. Try and feed the cow some molasses and pepto bismol beforehand for optimal flavour.

However, as it stands, this girl won't be all bud, and as you know, we want ALL BUD. We need to get rid of some branches.... We'll be using a technique called "defoilation", which we just invented last Thursday, all by ourselves.

Here we are, now she's ready to pump out some weight. Conservative estimates for yield on this girl are around 20 - 30 oz
