If it was genuine, wouldn't they have a patent filed, explaining how their process works?

just picked up some mighty wash this afternoon. i have what i would call a very mild spider mite problem. no webbing or anything like that thank god. ive tried neem first to no avail. second i tried foliar spraying w/ azatrol, also to no avail. my shop has carried this mighty wash, power wash and pm wash for some time now but i thought (and hoped) i would never need it. well the time has come where i do need it. im going to start my first application this evening and will re-applicate again in 5 days or so. ill let everyone know exactly how well i think this product works compared to what ive tried before. my guy at the shop said he has never used anything that compares to mighty wash and i really respect what this guy says. wish me luck ! !

Hi farmdalefurr , could be interesting to keep a couple of plants seperate and spray them in the same way with ordinary water and a dash of detergent or wetting agent as a control , i doubt there will be any difference.

Am guessing the active ingredient is a common surfactant used in the food industry rather than any electrical chicanery , cost to replicate pence per gallon.

if you use the tobacco infusion idea, boil the water for some time after soaking with the tobacco to kill any plant viruses.

the trick to any mite treatment is a good schedule and sticking to it

well i sprayed all of my plants down yesterday evening. i started by just taking a few leaves off here and there and spraying them individually to see how the mites would react. ill have to say that it sure stops them in their tracks. they pretty much instantly stop moving once being sprayed. after testing those leaves i sprayed every plant, top to bottom, top and bottom of leaves. today i checked on everyone and i couldnt find one spider mite that survived the onslaught. ill spray again in 4 days just to be 100% sure everything is taken care of. ill check for anymore signs of mites in the next few days until the re-ap and let yall know whats goin on.

most of the horticultural world feels this is not a hard pest to beat, and yes soap and water works if you stick to a good schedule.

have you done the following?

1)positive ID
2)determine length of egg-nymph-laying adult cycle
3)schedule your spray at a shorter interval than the life cycle is long. in summer heat this can be every 2-3 days
4)keep up with the schedule for 2-3 applications after all mites are gone
5) being mindful of mold, remember that mites hate damp or wet conditions, so plain water added every second day to your schedule can help.

i get rid but they always seem to return in 6 months or so, imo once you get mites its a never ending battle keeping them from returning unless you have the type of enviroment where you can totally discinfect everything over and over which isn't so easy in lofts/bedrooms

there is a reason there known as the borg

It can add a bit of weight to the branches. Especially if you have webs.So stake accordingly first IME. and I do not care if it is Hairy Nut Juice cause it works.
