Get Baked and Go Fishing

C

cheesey

heres a 31.8 lb common carp what i had when i went to spain last month . what a fight .
i was having a swim in the river to cool off next thing my alarm did a 1 tone screaming run .

what do you guys use for your go to bass bait? personally my go to is plastic lizards. the only company i use is http://www.wavefishing.com/ their lures are durable and last after catching a few fish unlike the expensive overrated gary yamamoto that fall apart after one fish. i use them or a spinner i never have luck with crank baits i wish i did though because catching bass on them looks so fun. but everytime i fish with them i gotta clean debris off of them after every cast.

Gearing up for some low key back country fishing in the angeles national forest. The waters/creeks/rivers have been closed for quite some years but there is some deep deep pools and such so I assume it holds nice natives.

Any advice for spin fishing unknown creeks and rivers? Such as techniques, etc.
Live bate caught from that body of water :tiphat:

Hey vstagger

whats wrong with that trouts mouth a mutation of some kind?
tryen to be a hookjaw?

It looked like it was caught before and someone ripped it's mouth open with a hook. I ate it for dinner tonight... they were delicious, rosemary on the grill with mesquite charcoal...mmmmmm that was tasty... peace and love, Stagger

Those rainbows look amazing friend! Some fat chunky fellas in the group! I bet they'll be delicious... last time I grilled them over mequite charcoal with fresh sprigs of rosemary underneath the whole fish, it was delicious! beautiful catch once again! What river did you slay those things at by the way? Peace and :respect: Stagger

had'nt been fishing in about 2 and abit months, mate invited me out for a 24hour session so I joined him and his friends.

afew joints and bongs in the tent before a nights rest was a first for me, even though I'm an avid fisherman I rarely smoke while fishing.

managed a 12lb mirror during the next day and a snapped hooklink, still the weather was nice and I managed to spectate alot of large carp crusing.

I can't believe I read all the way through this. I'll have to get my girl to find the pictures of the last time we went. I only got a few suckers, but she caught some damn nice bass.
