Ignore the haters and just fucking do it.

Coco is a piece of piss to grow in, I'm pretty sloppy and have never had a problem with it?

PLEASE listen to me here and clone in small plastic cups of coco. All you do is stick the clone in some wet coco and maybe water it once, 100% success rate every time and the easiest method there is. HOWEVER make sure you leave the bottom branches on the plants cos then even if you dont get a clone you can simply reveg it. Reveggings is again a pieve of piss I've revegged 20 plants and not had one fail on me.

I'm telling you this cos I wish some had told me it when I started out, would have saved me thousands of £ and saved a years fucking about!

i have faith in you

good luck with your grow mate, never seen a 300 hundred seed bonaza before,

if i was you id try and listen to the expericaned growers on here , but at same time go with what you feels right !

all id say is keep that heat down at all costs , heats a killer in terms of plant performence and pests ........... those little buggers love the heat !!

and be very very meticulous for thos little yellow bannana's from hell !!!! .......... a few missed pollen sacks and you will have 30,000 seeds never mind 300 lol

other than that i admire your grow , your enthusiasm and your bottle(balls) !!

all the best !!

Yes, grow on fellow brother in arms!@

CPA's usually start at 45-65k a year I thought?? Got my BS as well, n was thinking of going for the CPA.

Coco is easy if you want it to be. Get yourself some Canna/bcuzz coco, and like bobble said, sm-90, drip clean, and a cal/mag supplement will save your ass, n your plants will thank you for it.

Heat is a killer, so overshoot the A/c and have a backup to avoid total crop loss.

Other than that your obviously smart, doing well, and have some balls for running that many plants in general!

Note to self: Remember, Loose lips sink ships!

Brother great start!! Remember with hard work they will be GREAT!! This many plants you will feed daily! Keep a log of ALL the plants by number with a grid on when the ate and what ec so you know who to flush when. I also feed when the pots are light. Just one day before they wilt. Good luck you will know them all very intimately if you keep a HAND WRITTEN log. Trust bro pen and paper work best!!

There's some bad grammar here, but good info.

Coco is easy as hell to grow in... makes me laugh when folks say keep it simple, but add 3,4 or more additives to it!

RJ, Use your Coco, if you're tryin to KEEP IT SIMPLE, then use Canna's Aqua A+B if you're gonna go to drip or RDWC, Canna Coco A+B if you're staying in pots...

Mix according to bottle using TAP water and you're done. How simple is that?:tiphat:

I personally don't like adding perlite to Coco, as it's airy enough...more aeration you add to it the more you'll need to water...and considering you're watering by hand right now...LMAO! You'll be in there every day...maybe a couple times a day with healthy plants! lol

Some may not agree, but fuck em...imho, you need to learn the basics of growing first, I gave you a easy way above...after you get the grow under your belt, THEN worry about tweaking shit... trust me...the more you starting fuckin with shit now, tryin to "key in" on stuff..the more likely you are to fail. Plain and simple. Crawl before you walk... listening to some folks advice will have you tryin to run, whilst you barely can stand up ;)

Good luck man:tiphat:

Whising you all the luck for this grow, going to be a great learning trip for you. Keep fait and work hard, and it will pay off.

I like it with 300 femmed seeds, its a great test to see if they are realy 99% female. You should get max 3 hermi's hi hi. Thats what going to take most time, looking at every plant everytime to pick them hermis out fast, before they can do any harm.

Looks like you got some good guy's helping you, so i see no problem on your road to succes.

Just a quick update. I broke my foot 3 days ago and as a result was unable to tend properly to over 100 plants in small containers causing them to get mostly fried. Some larger plants I was storing under floros for a day stretched like a mofo. I'm in a lot of pain but the grow will go on. On most of the the fried plants, the new growth is nice and green so they're not lost altogether but I have to think they'll be stunted fairly bad at least. A lot of lower growth is not going to come back. I may cull some of them to make room for healthier clone worthy plants. I'll post a full response to each of you and post within the next couple days, I just didn't want you all to think I've forgotten about you.

Above are a few pictures. I'm still working out how to work the galleries so bear with me. I have two 12/12 rooms running now on flip flop and two veg rooms. One flowering room is a monocrop as are so popular here, critical +. The other flower room is a mish mash of 15 strains. One of the veg rooms is doubling as the hospital for the plants still recovering from their frying. I have quit my part time job to focus on this undertaking. I stand to lose more on a crop failure than I stand to gain from the few hours I'm working there. My foot is feeling better but is still in a lot of pain.

I have also suffered an equipment failure. A brand new quantum 1000 watt ballast died. I changed the fuse and it blows new fuses instantly. I am down to 2 1000 watt lights and a 600. I won't be able to replace the quantum until monday and I'm not even sure if the hydro store will exchange it or if I'll have to send it back to the manufacturer. Either way I need another 1000 watt ballast soon as I have 190 seedlings that will be needing more space very soon. I can't keep them in 16 ounce cups for long...

Fuck the haters.

Add another 3k of lights!

I'm tempted to but I am afraid of the smart meters. Running 3600 watts of light 24/7, a dehumidifier, and a central air unit is fishy enough. If I wasn't fearful they'd start an investigation I'd be running 20000 watts... Coco seems easy enough to grow in, I'm just getting the hang of it is all...

iSMOKE.KUSH, I flipped them, within a week, just like you said. Thanks for saving my butt there.

Aksala, Ok , I see where you're coming from and it just didn't come off the way you meant. Screw ups happen. I'm trying to keep them to as small a degree as possible but they'll keep on happening, just not the same ones... And I am adding more light, just not too much more...

madalasatori, You rock!!! Your advise probably is saving me multiple thousands of dollars!!! That is how I'll clone and I won't sweat it too much because of the reveg option.

geoponics13, Sexing is very difficult for me because of lack of experience. I may post a few pics because I'd feel bad if I kill my females accidentally.

turbolaser4528, bobble is da man and I really have a lot of respect for him and yourself. I can't financially afford those type of nutes right now. It's a slightly modified KISS nute formula basically I'm using. My a/c unit is freezing out the lower part of my house to keep the upstairs cool enough. I've got zero problems with temps but I think I'll be adding an ozone generator soon for added peace of mind besides my 8 inch carbon filters.

SumDumGuy, I tried keeping a log and it worked for about a day. It's a struggle to water them all when they need it at this point after a long day at work, let alone to log them. I am keeping a journal of the specimens I find particularly interesting.

Incognegro, I cut the perlite ratio way down on the plants I transplanted since I read your post. You are absolutly right that there is more danger from failing to water than I will benefit from root aeration. I'm not tweaking anything at this point, I haven't even got my cO2 tank and reg set up yet. The broken foot has slowed me way down.

Karma Genetics, Thanks for dropping in to my thread! I admire your work.

stihgnobevoli, I should be back to normal in a month. I broke one of the small bones on the outer part of my right foot. I just need to stay off it as much as possible. I'm tempted to bring in a friend to help me since my injury but I can't risk telling anyone so I have to keep on myself.

madalasatori, I'm quickly learning that things will always go wrong with ganga growing, it's how well I can react that determines the severity of the problem. I sure was upset when my ballast went out on me. It's supposed to last at least 3 years, not 3 days...

I have mad respect for you bro, having your bs in accounting. My only question, is why you don't get your CPA... You could be making $200k legit.... And you have more experience accounting than growing...

That being said, if you have the skills to be an accountant, you can grow a few plants. I like that you're going to use several 5x5 rooms instead of one big one. It's a lot easier to control a micro-environment.

Just remember, air exchange 2x a minute, try to keep humidity up to 70% weeks 1-4, and down to 50% the rest of flowering. Try and keep lights on/off temps within 10F.

Coco can be a mofo, but it's not that terribly hard to figure out... Your coco/perlite mix is good. Just add 1mL per gallon of drip clean by House and Garden to your feed regime. It will prevent any salt buildup. I would also recommend 5mL per gall each of Silica Blast, SM-90, and cal/mag. You're gonna have issues w/o a few additives...

Listen to what these guys are telling you about these sativas... They're gonna take up a lot of space, and not provide you with a lot of product come harvest time. Maybe you should designate yourself a personal grow, apart from your production rooms? b/c how much do you plan on smoking? You're a smart guy, and I don't think you're in this to get high...

Focus on the indica/sativa hybrids... Make some nice moms... slice the shit out of them and build up a clone army. Flower out the extreme sativas right away. You'll recognize them b/c they'll be the 1' tall plant when everything else is still a seedling.

I don't know if I still want to get my CPA. I worked 70 hours a week this last tax season and it's hard to imaging going through life doing that every year. My air exchange is good. I'm running my fans full blast into the carbon filters. I think they're about 700 fpm and the grow spaces are only 5x5. Each fan is exhausting 2 5x5 rooms so my air exchange is good. I've got a co2 tank, reg, and tubing I think may have been a waste. I'm going to start adding co2 anyways in the hope that the general atmosphere will increase a few hundred ppm because the air is cooled by central air and all recirculates eventually. This is a large 3 bedroom house cooled by central air and my temps in the grow rooms haven't even hit 80 yet despite the last month being in the mid 90s outside...

I am designating myself a personal grow. I really don't smoke that much relatively speaking, an ounce or ounce and a half a month depending on how many friends I smoke with. Most of the sativas will have to die.

Grow Clean.... Go Fast!
Digital ballasts have a higher failure rate. I only buy the brands that my shop can switch out for me on the spot. And we always keep extra on hand. Some burn out within the first few months.

Good Luck Man! I wouldn't have suggested that this is how you start, but you are off and running, so now there is no choice but to keep running. Don't set your expectations too high and then get discouraged later. Plan in your head on this being a test grow. If you are able to find some good stock out of it for mums then that is all you need to accomplish. You need to realize that all of your reading gave you some good background, but didn't give you ANY experience. You should be familiar with this model from going to school. Now you are in the real world and you are learning on the job. Every mistake and failure is a lesson learned for the next grow. So luckily, you are already learning!

One other thing to note: I would not plan on a large financial gain from this harvest. It is unlikely that you will turn out a high quality product. However, if it finishes, even if it ain't purdy, there are still options. If you don't want to do anything with it, then get it trimmed and fresh frozen at least. Later a set of Bubblebags can help you make some tasty hash while you are working on your next grow.

Again, Good Luck!
