They are your dogs, and I would do the same for anyone of my animals. I commend you there buddy. But you realize that your days of growing in that spot are numbered. Time to hightail it out of dodge...or cease all growing activity at that location.

You got to know when to hold...and know when to fold!

So these guys knew someone was at the house? I doubt they would do all this knowing you were in the house in the bedroom.

They knew you werent going to be there at that time of the day, which is an odd time for most people to not be home... oh yes you definitely know who did this.

I feel for you man, what a shitty situation.

I would definitely move though even if it means getting out of the game for awhile, too many people know what your up to and where your doing it.

What I don't understand is why you don't have some money put away for an emergency, especially if you have multiple rooms and have been hustlin' for 12 years?

I guess you didn't post this up here to get a bunch of feedback that you already know now. You put it up for the benefit of others... hey I should thank you it causes me and everybody here to reevaluate THEIR game and situation. Proactive prevention is great but its good to second guess yourself and take a fresh look.

Hey people are interested and would love updates, but change key details... like tell us you fed them to gators, instead of the wild hogs you're gunna trap and starve for two days.

Man sounds like financially you gotta stick it out for at least one more harvest at present location... but dude then you definitely gotta move... not only risk of being robbed (violently), but one of these ripper scum will get caught with tweak or something and use your location as their get out of jail free card... or for one of their friends, who they may help out with your info.. No doubt..

edit: oh wait you're in a grey-market area aren't you.. maybe not so much then

People people , There are wolves out there dont be sheep . Motion detector that turns my bedroom light on when anyone enters yard front or back an records video an speaks that u are tresspassing . Chopper that shoots shells if they still attemp to enter .

In one way or another, a base uncovered. It's just shitty that you have to involve at least a few people in your life to move shit. It's a risky business, I'll never say it's not.

damn some of the comments in here are straight low blows and a pretty shitty attitude coming from other growers...also this isnt a non med state or even a regular med state location, those talking about moving have no idea what kind of housing market this specific location is..its crazy and i can almost garuntee he wont be able to find another house with 3 dogs, no paystubs, and be able to grow without having the landlord up his ass...most landlords here are onto game about indoor grows..

why move when you can upgrade security and hold the fort down, i highly doubt norcal is gonna leave the castle when hes got a crop drying next time....next time crops are drying or close to harvest tell your friends sorry no partying or going out..its time to sit at home and play security gaurd..

his choice is to either quit growing and move out of the house and be fucked....or fire them up a few more harvests and stack up so he can actually move out and upgrade to a new grow..

why didnt he have money saved...didnt you read the part about his dogs....some of you guys just talk shit without even knowing the facts...i honestly think some of those posting get a little kick out of talking down on others anonymously via internet..

If you are involved in ANY illegal activity, it is best to keep your girl friend in the dark. The girl friend should not be living in the home with the grow room. She should not even know exactly what you are doing. Here's why:

If you get busted, the cops will arrest both you and your girlfriend. Then they will tell you that if you plead guilty, your girlfriend will not be prosecuted. But, if you and she say that she knew nothing about the operation, and she can pass a polygraph test to back that up, they can't use that dirty trick to get you to plead guilty. Then she will be able to help you fight the prosecutor and stay free.

Next time, you should live in the home with the grow room. The girl friend should never know what you are doing and she should not even know where you live. Not knowing is for her own good.

Don't let any of your friends know anything either. After one of them did a number on you, I would get new friends. Make sure nobody follows you. Don't use a cell phone. Get a digital pager like doctors use. Give the pager number to everyone, then return their calls from a landline with your number unlisted or listed under a fictitious name and blocked from caller ID.

If your referring to my post I sure didn't mean it to come off as talking shit.

I read the whole thread and like I already said its a shitty situation. I don't know the details, just seemed a bit weird to me that someone with a few rooms going would only have a few grand put away and be living crop to crop. Keep some funds buried or with your moms!

This is the voice of experience talking. I was in the marijuana business from 1964 to 1993. The DEA tried 3 times to bust me, but could only entrap me for a conspiracy bust in 1977. I did 2 years in a Federal Prison.

Medical marijuana is becoming the law here (Arizona) and I qualify for a card on several counts. But, I am growing for myself, not for sale anymore. So I won't get the card because I don't want to let the State know I'm a user or grower. If I do get caught, all the cops will do is take the plants. The local County prosecutor said, 3 years ago, that she won't prosecute any marijuana bust unless the amount is over 50 pounds. Since I medically qualify for the card, the cops won't bust, even though I don't have the card.

I was born in California and have lived there, off and on, for many years. I know growers in Northern California and will be going there to get some starts for Purple Urkle in January.

If you are going to stay where you are and keep growing there, spread the word to your friends that you are only growing starts there and that you are taking the starts elsewhere for flowering. Get a 12 gauge shotgun and show it to your friends and let them know that you are going to use it if you have to. Even if the same ripoffs have an idea to come at you again, they will think twice. The chance of getting killed isn't worth a few plants. You won't have to ever use the shotgun. It is the idea that they could be killed that will deter any future ripoff attempts.

Be careful. Don't trust anyone except your girlfriend. Don't ever show anyone your grow room or plants. Having plants ready for harvest is the same, to some people, as having a room full of hundred dollar bills. They will try to get the flowers only if it's safe and easy for them to do so.
